Beware of Internet Speedway!!!

Hey everyone!!!  Just wanted you all to beware of the lures that Internet Speedway has.....it is a total joke!!!  I had tried it for 7 months to raise money for my son's medical bills....it ended up costing me about $900.00 to get the site, and maintenance fees...and only had one sale for $32.00 and the shipping was $34.00...what a rip off!!! I could come onto Ebay and get nearly anything for sale on IS's site for below my cost!!!!  The only ones that make money is Internet Speedway...getting people to believe that their superstores will be profitable within a month or two.....oh...and that wasn't all my costs...I still had to advertise all on my own...and get a domain name, and there were many "hidden" costs.....NOPE....the best way to make any money online, is to sell things on EBAY!!!  No hype, no middlemen....no hidden  costs.....so when you hear them on the radio...or see their ads on tv....beware...don't be suckered into their game!!!  Stick with Ebay!!! It's your safest bet!!!

Besides...you get to blog with all your buds!!!

Take care, and have a  blessed day!!!

Life after Cancer!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!  Well, it has been about 5 months since I've written last about my son, Nathan!!  To recap....he was diagnosed with a very rare lung carcinoid cancer back in Oct '06.....in Nov '06 his lung collapsed, and they attempted to do surgery in Peoria, IL....that failed, and they nearly lost him, as he went into a "carcinoid crisis" which is where the blood pressure went 306/250.....the doctors there were not prepared for this to happen, and really didn't have the knowledge needed to handle his situation.....he spent 16 days in the hospital, and came home the day before Thanksgiving...knowing that the following week they would attempt the surgery again.  However, I was not feeling comfortable with them "trying" again....and so we sought out the best doctors the nation has to offer....and took him to Worcester, MA.  There at UMass, the doctors are phenominal....they immediately knew what to do, and he was admitted right away!  The surgery was long, 11 1/2 hours long....but successful!!!  They removed over 2/3rds of his right lung, the 4th rib, over 40 lymphnodes and even had to harvest his latisimus dorsey muscle from his back to use as a cushion for the remaining lung.  We were in Massachussetts from Dec 2nd until Jan 16th!!!   We were so glad to get back home!!!  Then he spent the next 6 months in physical rehab....now he's back to work, on a part time basis, and hanging in there.....I'M TOTALLY EXHAUSTED...where has this past year gone?????  I really missed blogging with you all...and FINALLY...got some things posted....All proceeds go to help pay my son's medical bills!!! So, help me out...bid on stuff knowing you are helping him!!
