Just me....Cindy!!!

ARGH!!! It won't let you revise the auction time...

It used to be that you could change a 3-day auction to 5 or 7 days, if there were no bids on it...they changed it so you can't revise that part of the listing.   Probably so if it doesn't sell, you'd have to relist, and they make more money!!!  You know....they should make it that if it doesn't sell, you owe nothing!!!

But if it doesn't sell and you use the relist option, don't you get your listing fees back?

Hate it by the way. Ebay will make more $$ this way. I don't list 3 day auctions very often anymore either because of it.

I think you can revise them down, but only if there's no bids.

You can revise the duration of the listing within only the first few hours it is live.

If it does not sell you can relist the item, you will be charged again for the listing fees, however if the item does sell the second time you list it the listing fees you were charged for the second listing (re listing) of the item are credited bnack to your account.

I just went back and read through your blogs, Cindy ... good luck and if you ever need someone to talk to or vent to, feel free to find me. I'm dealing with Hodgkins disease myself (it's a form of lymph cancer) ... I used to work in museum education, but since I really have no immune system anymore, I can't work with kids, especially in a classroom situation (way too easy to catch something ... heck, I catch cold going grocery shopping!)

The eBay business I'm trying to start here is to pay the gap in my bills ... it's not an easy road by any means, but since real "at home" jobs are nearly impossible to find (plus this was what my husband always wanted to do in his retirement ... since he passed away, this makes me feel like he's still with me, somehow.

Good luck, and remember you're not alone ... k?
