Our's just raised to $4.29 today and the local news is saying to get ready for another sharp rise in our price of gas this weekend for the 4th of July.

Lion Fish!!

The Kudzu of the Atlantic Ocean. These little beasty's are eating everything they can find in the ocean. Diver's are catching as many as they can find.

Does anyone think we need to update to Super Trains here in the U.S.

What do you think?

Anyone else notice how few visiters the blog area is recieving?

I've been watching the blogs visits counts on mine and many other people here and we are not getting as many hits as we used too. And I've noticed we are not getting as many new bloggers as we used too. Also I've noticed that when we do get new ones they don't hang around long.

Anyone else notice this trend?

Why do you think its happening?

11 million American divers will no longer be driving a car in two years.

Squack on the Streek had this on this morning. They said in two years gas will be at $7.00 a gallon and many drivers will give up their car or truck. They said this would be city drivers. They said country drivers would find ways to pay for the gas to get to work.

What do you think about this?

Gas buy of the day. $1.40 a gallon

Yesterday a local gas station sent an attendant out who put $1.40 a gallon for regular instead of $4.10. It caused quite a back up on the roadway. The gas station was not aware of the mistake until the cops stopped to see why the backup was going on. The cops shut the great gas deal down. I wish I had been on that side of town yesterday. I would have filled my tank up.

What we can do to cut down on our food bill.

Plant your own food. Don't have a lot of room? Plant container gardens. Plant a lettuce mix in a shady area. Grow radishes in a larger container. And green onions also.  You can plant potato's in a trash can. Don't want to pay the high prices of containers if you don't have them. Use an old tire to hold in the dirt. Shop the yard sales you can usally find people getting rid of some of their containers for .25(sm) to 1.00(large) pre container. Do you have an area you usally use for flowers use it for food plants instead. Buy several packs of seed you think you will use and as one crop gets used up sow a new crop.

Does anyone else have any suggestions for planting or any other money saving food idea's?

Please share.

Will $5.00 a gallon gas change your life?

Will it make more of a difference than where we are now with $4.07 a gallan national average?

Anyone doing any flea markets this summer?

As a seller or as a buyer? How do you think things are going? Does there seem to be a lot of people there?

$30 bucks for a little over 7 gallons of gas.

What really gets it into perspective is that a few years ago it would have cost me a little over $9 to get the same amount of gas. What a change.
