It's been a great weekend.  I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday.

This still life is a combination of mediums and the title is inspired by a friend's crop of home grown tomatoes or was it bell peppers.  Anyway, I love home grown vegetables... 

This is an abstract idea captured when watching a sunset covering San Clemente, Calif.  It's a wonderful town in So. California,  it has personality. While taking an art class, I remenber hearing an art teacher saying trees have personality and spirit...What do you think?

I've been away from my art for awhile, concentrating on other less important things that make up life. Anyway, this is a 4" x 6" original acrylic painting, for me it's always about nature and people.  Even this little flower reminds of someone...Good luck to all!

It's interesting to me  fusing western and eastern art techniques. I enjoy the properties of ink in a small format/OSWOA (Original Small Works of Art).

Not all the time but sometimes using Asian brush techniques forces me to slow down.  I'm unsure if "slowing down" is the correct term.  Maybe it's just catching a glimpse or focusing on the subject.  Enjoy...
