The Village Vendor

I could chew nails!!!!

I just received an email from Ebay customer support informing me that even though I had provided proof that I had paid for merchandise that was the subject of an unpaid item dispute, they were "unable to continue the appeal unless I had new information to submit."  I thought that proof of payment was what they wanted!  SILLY ME!!!!!  So, I get to keep seven strikes on my record that never should have been there in the first place.  If I am ever stupid enough to go to Ebay for help again, somebody slap me repeatedly until the impulse passes.......................

Did you use PayPal? If so, and you used a credit card, rather than a bank transfer or a debit card, you can at least get the money back by complaining to the credit card company that you never received the merchandise.

Silly you.....

EBAY does not have customer support...they have click the links, and automated responses.

And they have this thing they call Live help, which should really be titled NO HELP!

And the buyer and seller protection they have, is only for the fraudulent sellers & buyers!

They DO protect the criminals....they say they investigate, but they do not!
They do not even give law enforcement a phone number to contact them if needed! Only a fax number or email #!!

I agree. I had a dispute over an item I paid $50 for and never received. Come to find out the seller took the money and ran, from me and several other buyers. By the time I found out what had happened and tried to file a claim, I was told my time had expired and I was no longer eligible for a refund.
