Today, I was told today that my package wasn't thick enough. Now this might send lesser males into a downward spiral of self doubt, but I'm made of sterner stuff. I looked the lady squarely in the eyes and said, quite boldly, "WHAT?"

It's just not thick enough, see? She placed my package in the hole and sure enough, even I could see that my package was too small.

But my package is big enough when I do it on-line, I told her.

She smiled knowingly. It's always been that way, she said.

Now, before someone goes and reports me to the condom police, let me clarify. I had several items that should have gone out USPS First Class mail. However, the combined weight exceeded the maximum allowed weight of 13 ounces, so I broke the shipment up into two packages. I used PayPal to print up a label and found that I was unable print a second. Or maybe I could and just didn't know how. (What, now I'm inexperienced too? (sigh))So I figured I'd take the second package over to the post office and have them put on the postage. So I filled out my delivery confirmation slip and handed them the package with a request to ship the package first class. That's when the above conversation took place.

 Apparently, while delivery confirmation can be used for small packages (envelopes and padded envelopes) when paying for postage on line, it cannot be used for them in person, unless said packages thickness is greater than three inches. There are size queens every where it seems.

So Bunny has learned a valuable lesson. In the future, Bunny will save his largest package for the postal teller. Why are you laughing? Never mind. Maybe Bunny should just stick to on-line shipping where nobody seems to be concerned about his package size. Unless Bunny checks his spam folder where, apparently, lots of people seem to be concerned about it. LOL!
