5 of the Dumbest & Lamest Games on Next Generation Systems

I've played many games in my life time and I thought next gen games are supposed to be far better. I thought that the game developers have learned their lessons. Well, I guess not. You have to avoid these games at all cost. They're miserable, bad and they just plainly STINK!
5. Bomberman Act Zero (Xbox 360)

This game was developed in 2006. Hudson has turned this franchise into crap with the release of Bomberman Act Zero for the Xbox 360. Bomberman was supposed to be a addictive party game franchise. It's cute and fun for all ages. This game looks like Bomberman inside a spaceship cargo. You know the saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". This franchise was never broken, why try to fix it? Is it because we're in a new generation of games. The funny thing is, this game doesn't even feature Bomberman. Updating this franchise with a realistic feel was a bad move by Hudson. It turned a fast pace addicting party game into a slow, non addictive game with bad camera angles. The sad news is, the game retails for $50. You can get something better for that price.

4. NinjaBread Man (Nintendo Wii)

Don't you ever have the misfortune of playing this horrific game. When this was released, it was retailed for $29.99 but the price has dropped to $19.99 but even for that price, I wouldn't buy it. The game last about a half an hour. A HALF HOUR? 3 levels completed at 100% and you're booted right back to the main menu screen. I actually thought I pressed Quit by accident. Wait a minute, did I say this game was bad? Actually, I finished this wonderful game but in the process, I poked by left eye out with a knife at how horrible it was. I played until I cried but thank goodness it only last 30 minutes. This games brings us to another game that runs on the same engine, Anubis II. Controls and lameness are exactly identical. Atleast the idea of a Ninja Breadman was good. No it's NOT!


3. Anubis II (Nintendo Wii)

Like Ninjabread Man, this game is one of the worst game ever created. If you're in a store and looking for Wii games, just slowly turn around from this one and look else where. The games has 9 levels and could be completed in 3 hours. But you will never get those 3 hours back. This game also was retailed for $29.99 but then on sale for $19.99. Go figure. In between levels, there are some impossibly dumb mini games that gives you no chance to figure out. Some would say that it's a great game for kids but not adults. I say, let your kids play and witness as this games finds it way into the "DO NOT PLAY" section of thier game collection. Your best bet is to not let this game find its way into your home at any cost.


2. Vampire Rain (Xbox 360)

When I first rented this game and watched the intro, I was amazed at how beautiful the graphic and animation was but that was about it. Picture Syphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid & Splinter Cell but with lots of rain and Vampires. Nothing about this game was enjoyable or fun. Graphics pretty much sucked and most of the time you're sneaking around. I'm not saying sneaking around isn't fun but this game takes that fun factor out of it. I can barely get through 10 minutes of this crap let alone try to play the entire game. I know the game has multiplayer mode, but I didn't even bother to try it. If the game developer of Vampire Rain are going to rip off another franchise (Splinter Cell, I mean just look at the main character) but adding some supernatural enemies, at least do it right. My advice is to return the game and get your money back. I bet the people at Gamestop are laughing at you for even buying this game.



1. Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire (PS3)

I'm not sure what Namco Bandai was thinking when they brought this game to the PS3. How many people were working on this title? The frame rate is so bad, the game is so unplayable. Effects are lame as well as weapons and backgrounds. It's a lazy attemp to bring the Gundam license to the PS3. It's so disppointing in every aspect. This game really fails to bring excitement to the gamer. It's going to make your PS3 look really retarded to say the least. This game is such an embarrassment to the Gundam franchise. Maybe it was rushed to meet the PS3 launch. Clearly fans of this series should deserve better than this. I have nothing more to say about this game because it clearly SUCKS!


This sums up 5 Dumbest & Lamest Next Gen Games that I've regret even renting. If you even bought this game, I pity you. Go and redeem yourself and get MetalGear Solid 4, Mario Kart Wii and Grand Theft Auto 4. You'll feel much better.  Seriously, Has anyone even played any of theses games?  What are your thoughts?  Bet it was the same as mine.
