proper feedback!? people need to understand.

What really irks me about ebay, other then the fact that some items are not listed properly, is when I look at a sellers item listing and they state that they do NOT leave feedback until feedback is left for them. Which is not right at all.

Sellers are supposed to leave feedback after buyers PAY for their items. That is why it is called BUYER feedback. You leave them feedback based on how quick they payed, or if there was any communication with them about payment, any payment problems, ect.

Seller feedback needs to be left when item purched has arrived at your door. You leave feedback reguarding shipment speed, item condition, and any communication with the seller.

 

To me what is just plain stupid, is if you are a seller and you wait to leave feedback for your buyer until they leave you POSITIVE feedback. If you deserve negative feedback for poorly described items that does not give you the right to leave buyer negative feedback for the buyer, especially if he or she paid for the item IMMEDIATLY after they confirmed to buy the item.

ok, i know that feedback is optional, but what i was saying is that it irks me how people use feedback in the wrong scence.

recently i bought a set of 3 shoes ( 2 flip flops, 1 pair of shoes) the add was stated as one pair of flip flops used. other pair never worn, and shoes worn only once. i paid almost 7 dollars for them plus almost 9 dollars for shipping and handeling.

when i had recieved them, the used ones looked like dogs scratched at them, the other pair that was stated never worn...was.. dirt marks and sole marks dont appear over night on non-worn shoes. and the other pair of shoes what was stated only worn once, WOW that was a lie, these shoes were so freakin dirty on the inside and everything.

well i like to think of myself as a nice fair person, so i contacted the woman, she offered me my money back, less shipping and handeling. she argued with me that the shoes were IMACUALTE(sp) ... well.. i thought about this, to get almost 7 bucks back, return the shoes and be out 9 dollars when she only paid 4.50 to ship them(it was on the postage stamp)  was just not worth it, i decided to wash the shoes and let my daughter use them as play shoes. I come from a 4 member family with a budgeted income, i cant just throw away 9 dollars, some of that may seem like nothing to you guys, but to me, thats a gallon of milk plus some food.

well i left her NEAUTRAL feedback after everything was discussed. i said , more used then stated but did offer refund. pardon my french, but this bitch left me NEGATIVE feedback afterwards.

i went from 100 percent, to 85 percent, as someone who is just starting to sell stuff on ebay, that doesnt look good on my part.

so thats why i say its not fair.

 

i was left neg feedback out of spite.

feedback is optional, i know this

but when you use it, you need to use it the right way.

thats all im saying.
