Most Recent Posts TGIF! My Goal for the Weekend-What's Yours?Posted Jun-27-08 07:04:13 PDT My goal is hopefully to sell the items that people are watching. I've noticed that when you have store inventory, etc., books. That #1 sits there forever. Why don't they just buy the book. My other goal is to try and have a good weekend by not worrying about it and just go out there to those estate sales and have fun. I hope to find some really great treasures not only for me but for my shop. Let's Party!
The Fees Are Eating Me Alive!Posted Jun-20-08 06:06:37 PDT The fees and the economy are eating me up! The gas is so expensive that I can't even drive around to estate sales to find more inventory. The inventory I have is sitting until I can pay the ebay fees. I need to find something that I can buy at wholesale prices (even those are going up) in lots that I can have shipped to me and sell, economically. If you care to give me suggestions that would be great. I still haven't figured out how to make my blog look better. I was given a site to go to, but I'm slow on learning. Once someone said they would help me. I have no money so I couldn't pay much. But to give you a hint. I believe in divine intuition. That voice you hear that tells you what you should do, and then you do something instead? Well that first voice is your divine intuition and that's the one you should listen to. For instance, you lay a glass down and something tells you not to and you do it anyway. Then, a few seconds later, the glass falls and breaks. My spirit and soul have been lost for a long time and I'm learning about this and with what I have learned I will be writing a blog about it. Thanks for listening.
Good Morning! Is Everyone Happy!Posted Jun-16-08 07:57:30 PDT It's getting hot out there and it's beginning to stump my style. I usually go to estate and garage sales on the weekends to add to my shop. But.....it's too darn hot! 100 degrees is too hot for me. Now my air conditioner went out in the middle of the night. So I'm mad. I called 3 times to my apartments emergency line and I didn't get one call back. I finally went to the apartments when they opened and they didn't know anything about it. Now, 4 hours later they're working on it. Seems they're leaks in my valves. How could that happen? Hum... Okay, I vented enough, thanks for listening. Please check around my shop and tell me what you think. I'm adding some nice new items today. How's everyones sales going? I wish I knew how to get my blog page looking jazzy. Any help?

Good Morning - Happy After Memorial DayPosted May-27-08 06:51:32 PDT How were your sales this past weekend? Mine was decent. Spoof Emails! How About you? Customers Paying?Posted May-21-08 06:02:06 PDT I have several subjects to talk about this morning, but this one is driving me crazy. I'm keep getting spoof emails - Paypal dispute emails, someone saying I won a bid and $347. would be charged on my credit card, some are just asking questions, someone actually say they won a bid, the list is endless. All these will take you to you store and want you to put your id info in. Of course, I've didn't. I feel like someone is after me. This just started happening this week. What gives? Second, for some reason my buyers aren't paying like they usually do. I've sent a reminder to 1 buyer and have not heard any communication from them. Now I have two more that are slow paying. What's up. Usually, my buyers are right on the money paying. I'm concerned. Am I doing something different or are these spoof's too? I'm Living in Wonderland!Posted May-17-08 10:31:01 PDT I've had the best three days! Just had to tell you about it. I visited estate sales over the last few days, and came out with some really great items, i.e., lots vintage, whiskey bottles, McCall Needlework Magazines from the 50's & 60's, china, salt & Pepper shakers, china, jewelry, etc. Plus, I went to the bead market and bought new gemstones and vintage beads. I can't wait to photograph them and add them to my shop. Plus, make my new jewelry. This is much better than working behind a desk in the corporate world. I was so bored being an administrative assistant and having to kiss their bottoms, if you know what I mean. Additionally, when you get older it gets harder working with the younger generation. I don't have a college degree, but I feel like since I've started my own businesses, I've become much more educated and happier. I may not be raking in the bucks, but I'm having fun. One day I will really reach my total dream, and be able to move to North Carolina with my son and new grandbaby, just got to work harder. I'm getting closer. Dreams are not just given to you, you have to work towards them with goals. Thanks for listening! Jewells
CONFUSED! What's NEW!Posted May-15-08 08:17:51 PDT Starting my Ebay store is really a learning experience. I'm learning more about the internet now than I ever have. Html, feeds, etc., all over overwhelming for me. I've got a little add so my attention span is short and it's hard for me to comprehend things. Very hard. But I love selling on ebay and just wish I could figure out what the customers want. Do I need to change and buy wholesale, sell cheaper, better storefront and cheaper shipping. What? So I need help trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. I would love some support and advise from anyone that can give it. Help - from an eager seller |
