Good Morning - Happy After Memorial DayPosted May-27-08 06:51:32 PDT How were your sales this past weekend? Mine was decent. Spoof Emails! How About you? Customers Paying?Posted May-21-08 06:02:06 PDT I have several subjects to talk about this morning, but this one is driving me crazy. I'm keep getting spoof emails - Paypal dispute emails, someone saying I won a bid and $347. would be charged on my credit card, some are just asking questions, someone actually say they won a bid, the list is endless. All these will take you to you store and want you to put your id info in. Of course, I've didn't. I feel like someone is after me. This just started happening this week. What gives? Second, for some reason my buyers aren't paying like they usually do. I've sent a reminder to 1 buyer and have not heard any communication from them. Now I have two more that are slow paying. What's up. Usually, my buyers are right on the money paying. I'm concerned. Am I doing something different or are these spoof's too? I'm Living in Wonderland!Posted May-17-08 10:31:01 PDT I've had the best three days! Just had to tell you about it. I visited estate sales over the last few days, and came out with some really great items, i.e., lots vintage, whiskey bottles, McCall Needlework Magazines from the 50's & 60's, china, salt & Pepper shakers, china, jewelry, etc. Plus, I went to the bead market and bought new gemstones and vintage beads. I can't wait to photograph them and add them to my shop. Plus, make my new jewelry. This is much better than working behind a desk in the corporate world. I was so bored being an administrative assistant and having to kiss their bottoms, if you know what I mean. Additionally, when you get older it gets harder working with the younger generation. I don't have a college degree, but I feel like since I've started my own businesses, I've become much more educated and happier. I may not be raking in the bucks, but I'm having fun. One day I will really reach my total dream, and be able to move to North Carolina with my son and new grandbaby, just got to work harder. I'm getting closer. Dreams are not just given to you, you have to work towards them with goals. Thanks for listening! Jewells

JEWELLS DREAMS BY VICKIEWhat is Selling out There?Posted May-12-08 07:32:23 PDT I'm just curious to know what is selling. Is it antiques, clothes, jewelry, electronics, etc. I've been trying to figure out what will sale best and how to sale it. Auction vs. Buy it Now. It seems my buy it nows don't work. At least they haven't so far. Should I sell items in lots? I have a lot of nice clothes, but I really don't want to sell them 1 at a time. I thought in a lot. Same in shoes. What's your insight on this?

Auction vs. Buy It Now - STore InventoryPosted May-07-08 05:45:17 PDT I've added a lot of items for the first time in my shop, but it is moving slow. Is it the economy or am I doing something wrong. I'm confused on why the Buy It Now inventory in my shop doesn't move as fast as the auction. I've put my handmade jewelry up for sale and I don't want to lower my prices. I feel that someone will want them. Any suggestions? I'm Adding My Handmade Jewelry to my Ebay StorePosted May-06-08 16:13:00 PDT I've created some new jewelry and I want to share it with everyone. I love this style, because it's so earthy and real. It feels good on and goes with anything. My customers have truly enjoy my creations and so will you. |
