There is allot of good software for tracking dives, this is one way to get that information stored prperly and ready to input into you virtual  dive log or dive log book. The more information the better for returning divers and new divers to a dive location. Use the icon change box and use the icon of your choice to mark that great dive site too. Google Earth gives you all the information for the boat captain to get you to where you drop or lost that gear or item and now you have a wreck dive being your own to record and go find that lost item.
