It's a little frustrating.....

Duh!!!!!

I am moving back to Newfoundland with my fiance at the end of June.  The apartment we currently have does not allow pets - except for fish.  So we bought a little tank and a couple of little fish........Needless to say, we now have 48 fish and a lobster in a 90 gal tank.  That's great and all, but we are having trouble finding out how to get the fish 4000+ miles across the country.  Ironically, the most difficult part of bringing fish is when we have to cross water........that's almost too funny.  Anyway, I called all the local pet stores (some of which sold us the fish) and they said they have no ideas.  What's a little strange about that is most of our fish are not native to Canada - so how did they get here????  I had a little conversation with a girl at the pet store - it went something like this:

me - Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me how I take my fish back home to Newfoundland with me.

Mensa member:  I don't think you can

me:  How did your African ciclids and South American Sevrums end up in Canada?

Mensa Member:  The delivery man brought them here, but he only brought them from the local post office.

me:  Thanks for you help

Now, I possibly should have responded with a clever remark like, "I had no idea that our LOCAL postal office was in Africa or South America.  But I didn't.  My eyes glazed over as I waited for her to laugh, smile, something.........no response.  She was serious.  I was dumbfounded.

Still no answers from all couriers I've called..........

Where did the penny go?

If someone asks you "a penny for you thoughts"

and you respond by putting in your two cents worth,

Where the hell is the other penny?????

If an old lady slips and falls..........

If an old lady slips and falls

your first reaction is to laugh,

but then you think,

if you were a bug

and she fell on you

it wouldn't be so funny...

Can you list in various currencies???

I was just wondering if someone could tell me if, and how, you list your items in different currencies.  I'm not even sure if it's possible, so if it's not, forget I asked such a stupid question.

I love Canada and I don't mind posts, it's Canada Post that pisses me off.....

I presently have outfits for sale in my store...........not trying to advertise or anything like that.........stores.ebay.com/Trendy-Tickle-Trunk..........sorry.........forgive me.  Where was I?  Oh, Yes, Canada Post.  See, the dilema is that if someone buys the outfit (like the little georgeous Vitamins Baby 3 - piece set presently for sale in my store........wink, wink..........it will cost me $10.50 approximately to ship to most places in North America..........But, the funny thing (or sad, I'm not sure) is that if I seperate all three of the items (to get a better understanding of the three pieces I'm talking about - see Trendy Tickle Trunk in Ebay stores, lol) into seperate envelopes guess what happens????

Cheaper, yes $4.00 cheaper.......so let me get this right.  Canada Post will charge me over ten dollars to send a small box weighing less than 500 grams but if I make them deliver three times the amount of packages weighing slightly more now, since I had to use three of those fancy bubble wrap envelopes, they will charge me $4.00 less.

What a crock!  And just one more thing I would like to say........to the lovely lady at the counter of Canada Post in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at the Shopper's Drug Mart........"I hate you"  I hate you for making me wait in a lineup for 35 minutes and when I ask you for a little piece of your overpriced cheap tape, you tell me NO, buy it yourself.

But I digress..............
