Have you ever just clicked on Manage Store from your ME page and then actually looked at all the features?

Use those extra pages given to you to post special offers, more about you, etc. They are FREE, use them and I have noticed by my store traffic report, people do read these!

Use the newsletter feature! they are so fast and easy to use. Check some of our regular bloggers who send out nice ones with tips and recipes. You get 5000 a month free to send!

Make sure you use the area next to your logo to fill with keywords, not things like, "Hi, thanks for looking!" These keywords do prompt in google, yahoo, etc!

If you can afford, have a store front created for you. bunnyhoppinphoophoo and elaboriquedesigns offer some great designs and affordable packages. Click on my red door to see the one bunny has done for me! Why should you do this? It is part of branding! Plus it looks great & makes customers feel like they are in an actual store rather than a generic web page :)

Use the store sale feature - announce in your newsletter you will be having a sale!

Be sure to list a couple new auctions a week, summer is slow so many do not list as many as they do during the busier times but you want to draw traffic into your store as well as keep a presence on eBay. Customers see you list weekly/daily, they come back and check! PLUS you will always show up on the e-mail generated by eBay of Your Favorite Sellers New Stuff or whatever it is called! Anyone that has saved you as a favorite will see your new listings and an easy link to see all your other goodies!

Make sure you are taking advantage of the category option in your store! Don't leave it as Category 1, Category 2, etc! If you sell clothes, bre

O ID's - I really would not advise opening a store right away. Used to be you had to have a certain # of feedback before you could do this but apparently, that is no longer the case. You really need to build-up your feedback and you should research before jumping right in. It sounds nice and easy, only $16 a month but buyers look for reputable sellers and that is done with the feedback system. Plus you should buy a few items shipped to your house, not just digital downloads. Why? Because you need to see what the competition does. How do they package? Did you like how it was packaged? Was there a little extra, like a thank-you or business card. Basically, be a customer yourself first and learn what you like and don't like and then apply these to your business.

*bushellcollectible was spotted on the blogs recently by a fellow blogger who recognized the ID from an eBay book they were looking at in the bookstore. Yes, we have been in 2 eBay books by Michael Miller. this is another great way to get exposure, posting reviews & guides, tips on the boards and blogs...you may have an author e-mail you asking to use your material and/or want to interview you. I said yes, I tend to always search the ID's I see listed in articles and books so I figure others must as well. It's all about exposure and if you can get it for FREE, even better! Plus relatives love when you show your name in print in a book ;) Oh and you usually get a copy of the book for free as well, another perk!*
