If you're Happy, then we are Happy.

Did you notice that all business sellers have to offer 14 days returns on Buy It Now items?

Well, we can beat that hands down.  We offer a 100% Happiness Guarantee. Not just for Buy It Now items, or Shop items, and not just if the item is not as described or arrives damaged (and we are human, we do miss some faults, and we are very very sorry when we do).

You can return anything you have bought from us, for whatever reason.

If you are not Happy, we are not Happy.  So send it back*, and we will send you your money back**.

* Not that we think you will want to... our happy customers hang on to their purchases with both hands, they are so pleased.

** That includes all of your postage including the return postage if the item is not as described, but if you just don't fancy it any more then we ask you to pay the postage.  Seems fair, doesn't it?

DID YOU KNOW.... Where our name comes from?

Josordoni... not the most usual of names.  We are often asked why?  and where does it come from?  and how the heck is it pronounced....

Bob is half Italian, and his granddad's name was Giuseppe Sordoni... When we were looking for an eBay name that wasn't either totally naff or unmemorable, we decided to pay homage to this hard working man. We anglicised the Giuseppe to Jo, and there we are. A unique name for our unique company.

and how do you pronounce it??  Joe Sorr Doan Ee....  all run together...

Are you from a country I am not offering to ship to?

I have had a few expensive packages go missing by insured mail to certain areas of the world, so you may notice on some of the more expensive items I am now limiting the areas that I will send to.

Nothing to do with you as an individual, just my loss of trust in some Mail services...

However, eBay are not making it easy for me to just leave out a few countries in the world.  I either have to show Worldwide shipping, or only a few destinations.

So,  if you would like to buy an item but find you are unable to bid, do let me know, it may be that you are from a country that I am happy to ship to, in which case I can arrange for you to be able to bid on that item.

Happy Birthday to Us

Woohooooo!

I just happened to notice the date we started on eBay - May 21st 2002 - so the week after next we will be Six!

I shall have to change our ME page now!

I am so proud of still being here and enjoying selling on eBay.  I hear so many moans and groans from other sellers, but we have wonderful customers, who like our items.   And I love selling here on eBay, it beats standing out in the cold at an antiques fair hands down, no contest!.

All these lovely things I get to buy and enjoy whilst waiting for their eventual owners to turn up... what better life could there be, eh?

DID YOU KNOW... what does AF mean in a listing?

A customer mentioned the other day that she didn't know what the term AF or A/F means with regards to ceramics and glass, but is seeing it in titles and listings more often these days.

AF can mean either AS FOUND or ALL FAULTS, and is a frequently used term by auctioneers to indicate that there is undisclosed damage and that the customer should take care, as the item is to be bought with all faults whether mentioned or not.

In eBay terms, AF therefore means that the item is damaged, and what you see is what you get.  This could be anything from a fine hairline crack, to an item that has been completely smashed into smithereens!

Any item showing AF in the description should have a full description of the damage you can expect, and you should ask for further details and/or pictures if you are not sure how badly damaged the item is.
