I can only apologise to those sellers, who through no fault of mine were saddled with such a stupidity. To all of you , please be assured the money has LEFT(like Elvis) my bank account. ( By Direct Debit no less--which means paypal got CASH not a check) In what PayPal LIMBO it has landed in I do not know. There are ten of you in total, you know who you are. Again, had I been given the choice(which I was NOT) I would NOT have chosen the horrid and despicable ECHECK! Thakyou for your patience. VERIFIED SHMERIFIED!Posted Jan-17-08 22:58:03 PST Well here I thought being verified would ease buying and selling on EBAY. HeHeHaHAHAA! Can anybody tell me why PayPal(letz use the term loosely) gets to choose whether we pay by card or ECHECK(watz an ECHECK?) Well an ECHECK takes ages to clear(Like a real check) and the seller pays a fee.Sheesh! Aren't we using EBAY to get bargains and PROFIT? shouldn't payment method be buyers choice unless otherwise stated by seller? Well I can tell you it has caused some grief between sellers and myself, as I can assure you most sellers would not choose ECHECK mostly because of the time it all takes. In this wonderous age of computers I ask WHY? EBAY DELAYPosted Jan-10-08 16:49:34 PST Updated Jan-17-08 07:22:47 PST Dear Sellers, Now there is something that I wish to adress. EBAY internationally deals and so we are subject to time zone interference for one, being a victim and perpetrator I speak from experience .Another is that people think you are glued to your computer and if you don't answer right away they get all negative on you. Thirdly once a sale is made shouldn't we exchange phone numbers to avoid these communication mishaps? I am not perfect but I try to be as honest as I can, still things can happen to people that affect everything we do. Let us try as EBAYER's to have patience and communicate a bit more. Thank You
