Most Recent Posts Empty Nest SmdromePosted Nov-03-06 01:05:32 PST Hi, I seem to be on a quest to find what makes me happy. I have been married for the last 32 years.
Empty nest Syndrome. The last of our kids moved out. It is now just my husband (not yet retired) our dog and me. Any advise? I just turned 50 years old. Now I am asking myself what shall I do with the rest of my life???? I need to find out (what makes me happy, but I seem to be chasing my tail. We have 2 grandsons ages 1 and 7 years old. I love them, but their has to be more to life. Anybody have any suggestions as to how I get on with my life?? I have to redefine my relationshiop with my husband, our home is too quiet. Hi Everyone, This is my first Blog. I paint Whimsical and Realistic Paintings of dogs and puppies. I love to capture their unique expressions. I recently finished a painting for David and Gloria Wolper. All of my of my pets are My Original designs and each have their own unique personality. I sell prints of my Original Paintings for those of you who missed out on those auctions. I have begun another painting that will be ready for viewing with in the next 2 weeks. Sometimes a customer will send me a photo of their fury baby, if I am moved by their pet, I will paint it and place it on ebay. I have met so many wonderful people thru Ebay. I just had another birthday, I turned 50 Years OLD !!!!! The last of our children living at home recently moved out. Now I ask myself { What do I do with my life } LOL I must be going thru a new phase of my life. Our house is too quiet now. It seems to big for just my husband and I. Well, I sure we will find something to do with the extra rooms. It just feels so weird to be a couple again. My husband is using the quiet time to write a book. Our Dog (Zena) has turned into our only child now! LOL Chirstmas is just around the corner. I have found E-bay to be one of my favorite places to shop. I have bought many unique gifts that are not in stores. Their are many ebay sellers with Original ideas. I am afraid e-bay has spoiled me. LOL Shopping at the mall is boring compared to shopping on E-bay. Take Care, Judy |
