When you make a purchase from us, did you just happened to stumble upon us? Did you go through a search engine? Word of mouth? Our brick and mortal store? Etc... And what was the reason you choose to buy from eBay instead of other places? Was it primarily because of the low prices? Or the excitment of bidding on the auctions? Perhaps was because of the safety reason knowing that eBay is one of the most safest place to shop? And did you do any comparison shopping? Let us know...We are very interested in your feedbacks. Refunds and Exchanges ARE ALLOWED!!Posted Oct-29-07 01:00:45 PDT WOW!! Isn't that truly amazing??!! We can't even believe our own eyes and ears!! We have revised our store policy...With the addition of accepting RETURNS AND EXCHANGES from our customers. There are NO penalties, restocking fees, or any other gimmicks. The only thing we ask for is the buyers cover the shipping fees. Please do see our store policy for thorough details. But think about how huge this is, the ability for you buy top quality products from us, bring them home wherever you are all over the world, and able to inspect the items before you commit to buy them. This policy applies to everything we have in our store. Including all dresses from our vendors such as Alfred Angelo and DaVinci Bridals. Womens' shoes such as Dyeables, Touch Ups, Elegance. Or undergarments such as NuBra and hoops. And others listed in our eBay store. HOW GREAT IS THAT!! Let us know what you think....Is this a good news for you? Does this benefit affect your buying habits? Any idea you think we can improve upon this? How can we update our listing descriptions EFFORTLESSLY??!!Posted Oct-27-06 19:21:02 PDT One of the worst thing about eBay is the difficulties of updating/modifying existing listings. I'm talking times when we need to overhaul all our listings to a new format. For example, I used to have my terms and conditions listed in bold characters and in long paragraphs where it is hogging up long page of spaces. It became very cumbersome for potential buyers scrolling a long page below they can get to the bottom. So I came up with a new format where I insert all that information into a table and shorten the length dramatically. Now the problem is HOW DO I CHANGE ALL THE LISTINGS TO A NEW FORMAT EFFORTLESSLY????? The only way I know how to do it is to END all the listings, and RE-CREATE all the listings again. As you all can imagine, how much times and resources needed especially for eBay owners who have gazillion listings!!! I only have about 500 listings and I found them to be very tiresome to do it. What if I want to change my format again?? I have to go through this hell again?? The way I'm imagining that can resolve this problem is where the 'format' is actually located at somewhere else, but in the listing the source code is written to point to that location. So if there is any change, we just change the target and it will automatically change the listing. Any suggestion how to speed up this process? Programming perhaps? Comments? What's the proper steps of issuing a refund to customers?Posted Oct-27-06 18:35:59 PDT Updated Oct-27-06 18:36:57 PDT Issuing a refund is always not an happy event. This always involved a customer, who for whatever ther reason, is not happy with their purchase and wants to return the item. I would always try to work it out with him/her first before I would agree to the returns. But my procedure usually involves the following step before I issue a refund to my customers: 1. Filed an mutual transaction cancellation agreement using the Ebay 'Unpaid item dispute' feature. 2. Once the agreement is agreed, I would then refund the payment back to the customer, less whatever the fees listed on the listing. However, my procedure sometimes will get into a conflict (argument) with the buyer as they claimed that if they signed the agreement, then they would lost the protection of getting the refund. However, what they don't understand is that we as a seller, still is obligated under the Paypal transaction or whatever the credit card they used to the payment. They still can filed the claims there and we would ended up with nothing. But if the situation is reversed where we had refunded the payment before the agreement, we will lose the fees if the buyer decided to ignore our cancellation Email. Any better suggestions of handling this? Any comments? |
