My hot water heater has been acting up lately so I decided to empty it out and get all that nasty rust and sediment outta there!

I am the one who has always flushed it since my hot water guy showed me how to do it. But for some reason my mind went blank today and I forgot how to do it! So I finally got it and realized that I had to switch that little thing up to make the water go. lol

Anyway, when I cleaned it all out and put the element back in and all that I had my hose running into the drain in the basement. I turned the water back on and went up stairs really quick. When I came back down, my basement was full of water!!! The pressure from the water moved the hose and it was now draining onto the cement, not in the hole. Oh boy I had a mess!

Then comes a headache.

Now I'm fine and I'm not drowning in water anymore. Shweeeeew

Well, off to bed in a few now that I listed the vintage jewelry. Night

....When you know you have to list because you have tons of stuff, but you just don't feel like it?! It seems sometimes I hate going through the process of listing. I'm glad I use the Turbo Lister now though because I think I wouldn't have done anything at all if I had to do it online still. I wish I could just take a picture and be done. lol

Well, it's that time...to list, list and list more!

I'm putting up some vintage jewelry right now so if you're interested, wait about 1/2 hour or so and then check my items.

My kids really don't ask for much at Christmas time. They are not spoiled and don't always get what they want, but this is just a downright sweet child! I was just overlooking, once again my youngest son's list and realized how adorable he is! So unselfish!

At the top it says "Bip's wish list !! (choose one not all!)"

"Choose one not all" he says-out of 15 things! Isn't that cute?

I saw someone changed the style of the comments in their blog and I wanted to do the same because the comments are so hard to read sometimes because of the font and size.

So yeah, I had no idea really what was what in the style sheet so as you can see I figured it out how to get a bigger comment, but messed all the other colors up.

Oh well, I'll get it to the way I want it at some point. The only way to learn is to just do it!

And now that I have, I'm outta here.

My sister and niece are here from up north so my daughter and I are going to my mom's place and the 5 of us are going to have a girls sleep-over! I don't get to see them much because they live several hours away and they planned on staying at my mom's so we just decided to have a girl's night.

I hate being away from my husband though because I can't sleep worth a darn without him!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and I'll be back on Sunday or Monday.

Even when I am very PEEEEEEED off, I try not to burn bridges or hurt people because in return I become hurt. I try to channel my anger as much as I can, whether it be spouting to my blog friends instead of to the person I'm mad at or just holding off on talking to the person that I'm mad at.

Sometimes I know that it is sooooo sooooo hard to hold your tongue when you are so incredibly angry and furious at someone, but you have to at least try. It doesn't always work (trust me I know) but it is easier to tear down a bridge than rebuild one.  I had to rebuild a lot of bridges in my life and found out that it is easier to try to hold my tongue or count to ten than to come back hours, months, or years later to say I'm sorry or to be on cordial terms with someone. (If you are borderline bipolar, I understand that rebuilding bridges is a common occurance for ya! lol)

Words mean so much. The word "Asshole" hurts so much more than the word "Jerk" and "Fuck off" cuts so much deaper than "Get Lost." The word "Bitch" angers women so much more than "Witch."

So please help me and help others to build bridges, not tear them down only to rebuild them again later. We can keep regular maintenance on our bridges to keep them sparkling and new with just a little work! ** When someone insults you, take a deep breath, count to ten and realize where first of all their anger or hatred is coming from and if you can't figure them out, realize that you don't need to please them. The only person you need to ultimately please is the Lord....so ignore the others to keep our world beautiful!

Waking up at 4 am and working 8 hours plus coming home to make dinner, sew, pay bills, pack for my husband, sign school stuff,  and all that other Mom stuff--and it being 2:25 am--I am too tired to keep my eyes open anymore.

You all made me tired having to stress myself out about the whole school thing! No just kidding, it wasn't your fault--it was mine.

Anyway I'm signing out and signing into bed.

I am very modern in many ways but also very old fashioned in ways also.

My 10 year old sweetheart (yes he is a sweetheart--very different from the other two) came home and told me that he got deodorant from the school. I curved my brows and wondered why. I know he showers, does he smell still? What the heck! So I asked who gave it to him and all the details. Luckily my older step-son was listening in and told me that my youngest probably received a booklet also that I probably wouldn't like.

I asked if anyone came into the class and talked to them and he said no. The teacher just handed this stuff out. Ok, fine that's good the school wants to teach them good hygiene especially with lots of yucky stuff going around. So, I look at the book and each passing page just upset me more and more!

My school sends home a note getting permission to let your child participate in sex education. If you don't sign it, they can't go.

WELL NOBODY ASKED ME IF THEY COULD SEND A BOOK HOME ABOUT PENIS' GETTING HARD "WHEN YOU SEE AN ATTRACTIVE PERSON" OR EJACULATION AND SEX AND EVEN , GET THIS, WET DREAMS! Yes they are teaching my child that even 10 year olds can get excited and their penis will grow and produce sperm which........ and that they can get excited in the middle of the night etc. etc. etc.!!!

I'm sorry but there may be parents out there that are never around to teach their kids about the body parts and appropriate times about sex and the body, BUT I AM HERE and I WILL BE THE ONE TO HAVE FINESSE (sp.?) about it and DECIDE WHEN MY CHILD SHOULD KNOW ABOUT WET DREAMS AND EXCITED EJACULATION!!!!

If you don't have time for your kid and know an appropriate time to tell your child about sexual changes, I don't want to hear from you. All kids are different and need to be taught it at different times. MY CHILD DID NOT NEED TO KNOW ABOUT WET DREAMS! So be it.

I have personally written 19 reviews and posted probably 100 or more in ebay blogs (38 entries in my own blog) and Ebay is only counting 12 for my zip!

The column for community is not getting tallied right! My zip should be getting a lot more than 12! I mean look at the top ranking cities have big fat zeros in them! Now come on, I'm sure NJ blogs and writes reviews but they still have a zero in the community column.

I along with others have complained to Ebay, talked with live support to ask about it, and sent emails to customer service and still it hasn't been fixed or have I gotten a reply about it.

Yeah, I know there's no way my little bitty town is going to rank higher than NJ or NY or anywhere else for that matter, but hey, I'm supposed to stand up and be counted and ebay isn't counting me!!

This just stinks I think.

Younkers sells them for 300.00 and BestBuy had them for 99.00 for a small one and 149.00 for the larger one.

But they are cheaper here! Yay!

Ok, just did a quick search on Zoombox also and the first page of BINs were all more than what the store wanted. The auctions are just slightly less (but will be more once it ends because they still have many hours left) or more. The store is selling them for 248.00

I needed to get out of the house today so I went to the mall to go Christmas shopping. I had my lists in hand and was ready to jot down prices of items that I could later look up on Ebay.

I had already looked up the price of Guitar Hero II. It seemed a little high on Ebay so I thought I'd check it out at the stores. Maybe it got popular in a few weeks time and the price went up!

Best Buy has them for 79.99 and Walmart has them for 79.49 (or some odd cents). I just spent an hour going through what was on Ebay and cannot find one cheaper than that! I am completely amazed that Ebay is actually more expensive for once. lol

Sorry Ebay members, but I can even order it at BestBuy.com and get free shipping. 79.99 plus free shipping, no having to leave the home afterall. This is one time where I am buying it at the stores.

Now it is time to check out all the other prices I jotted down. I'll update ya if needed on those ones.

Somebody actually paid after I filed the non-payment dispute! It has been 20 days since he purchased the item.

Hey, that's ok though as long as I get my money--shweew I'm glad he paid so I didn't have to relist them!

Now if only the others would pay :(
