I see charlotte came on here and posted. I bet that made people mad. Ya know, honestly I didn't think she was bad. She probably said one thing that got people upset somehow and they started ragging on her and then it just became a vicious circle after that. I did see one thing I didn't like and said something once but now I know I shouldn't have because I didn't know her well enough BEFORE all the crap started. Kinda like how everyone hates us now because we tried to speak up for ourselves.

Dang I feel bad actually because I think if it weren't for me, everyone would probably like ya still. If you think about it, all this started when?????

All this started because Peg was jealous that I called you. Holy crap do you believe that??? Out of all the years he was not around, he decides that he is going to get jealous and act like a baby because I gave a person my number and we had a phone conversation! Out of the 7 years I've been online, I've only done that one other time than with you and that person because a very good friend to me.

But if it weren't for me giving you my number, Peg wouldn't have acted like a baby to us and start calling us names and saying bad stuff about us. Do you believe it--a phone call!!!

Anyway, sorry for getting everyone mad at you here. At least I lub ya huh? lol

Well, we went canoeing today. We went on the river today. It was a bit different than being on the lake. We took Brandon with us but Katelin didn't want to go. She wanted to stay here and work so she could earn computer time.

It took us 3 hours to get about 4 miles down the river. We fished again too and I got 3 bass but they were slightly too small again. Brandon caught 1 or 2 and Rich caught none. He was paddling most the time anyway because he has canoed a few times before. Basically the other day on the lake was the first time for me and then today was the first time on a river though.

We got back and ate and then I made some soap finally. I think it may be nice because I used chamomile buds and avocado seed in it along with the essential oils I put in it.

Then got on the computer! That was basically my day....well except for making breakfast and stuff like that and getting ready to canoe.

That's all I have to say.

Something is wrong with my post office!!! I never had a problem in Peck, but now that I have moved and have a new post office, I have had problems.

The other day a buyer called me and told me that she got the wrong package (long story but she was telling the truth--and it wasn't even a package I sent but had my label on it)

And now today I get a letter from USPS stating they found a package with my label on it (completely different order than the above) but nothing was in the package.

So, I contacted my buyers and then decided to look on some of the others I sent, out of fear of them being lost also. AND GUESS WHAT?  Two more packages have not yet been delivered according to the delivery confirmation! The information it gives me says it was accepted and left the Allen Park MI facility on such and such a date. One of them was April 17th! but have not yet been delivered.

What the heck is going on??? All 4 packages got to the Allen Park MI facility but got lost after that. When I lived in Peck I never had a problem. Now that I live in Midland I've had 4 packages with a problem so far (been here only about 2 months). I wonder if it is Midland or Allen Park?? Even my packages from Peck (when I lived there) went to Allen Park.

I just don't understand and am very disappointed in the USPS too because when I called they said there is nothing they can do since the packages weren't insured. Oddly my Priority Packages got delivered though. Do you think it is some conspiracy to make us buy Priority instead of Parcel or Media Mail???

I'm just really mad now! I'm probably gonna have to refund all 4 of them! Already did 1.

I had a stool bought from me. I printed a label online and went directly to the post office to drop it off. I get a message a few days later saying that my buyer got a package with my label but not the right package. It was a piece of clothing (that she said she was more than happy to send the package back) that was supposed to go to some other person and there was an invoice.

My buyer was not scamming me cause I called the company that she gave me and so on and the package was in fact someone else's.

Anyway, point is this. My label fell off of my package, got on another persons, got sent to the person it was supposed to with delivery confirmation.

What can I do? Nothing! Because the post office doesn't even have the "lost mail" forms anymore. They don't search for items anymore. The post office told me that they open a box with no label, see if there is an invoice inside. If there isn't any way to tell where it needs to go, they send it to one of only two locations in the U.S. for "dead mail". They determine the value. If the value is over $5.00 they auction the item; if not it gets destroyed.

Sooooo, lesson learned to me???? Start putting invoices in the box in case my darn label falls off!!!! No more lost mail forms!!!

You still haven't sent me your address??? I am sending the two other gifts out tomorrow and was hoping to send yours at the same time.

It was nice talking with you the other night. Do you realize that we were on the phone for 2 hours and 35 minutes???? I could've talked more but as you know it was abuot 5 am here for me (eeeekkkk) and late for you too.

I was soooooo tired last night that I couldn't keep my eyes open to get on the computer so I went to bed and didn't even try to get on.

To start the day off, I did not feel the best ~ Headache and stuffy from allergies. I then had to drive the two hours back to our other house to drop a trailer off to my mother-in-law and then pick up our camper.

I tried to pick up the camper last week but it had a flat tire and we had nothing there to fix it nor a spare. So, I drove all that way and had to go back. I went to go put the spare on today and the jack wouldn't make it go high enough! So I had to shinagle some boards under and such. The neighbor from down the street asked if I was having problems (I was a girl on the ground trying to fix a tire). I told him the problem and he helped me out. He got the camper up high enough and changed the tire for me and then made sure I could get the camper on the van good.

Well, the problem was that I had the wrong ball on there! I forgot the darn ball at my new home! I figured I would just drive the 15 miles to the nearest store and buy a new ball because I was NOT going to leave without my camper again. Luckily he said he had one I could borrow (so nice!) So we got it on and I headed back again on the two hour drive with a huge headache and congested like crazy.

I talked to my hubby a few times on the way through the walkies and he didn't seem right. It seemed he was in a bad mood. I asked him if everything was alright and he said yes and I left it at that because he seems like that a lot. If he is tired he is like that, or if his back hurts he is like that and sometimes if he is just busy he seems in a bad mood.

I get home finally at 11:00 pm or so and because it is dark I was having a hard time getting the camper to back up straight. It is more sensitive than the trailer I had been using of his mom's. He told me to just leave it until I could see better in the morning.

My hubby came up to me, hugged me and said "I'm glad you are home. But I have bad news." He told me that my daughter got a ticket. I said something calm like "really?" because I guess I thought he was joking at first, and then I thought about it for a moment and rage struck and I said "wait, what!!!???" He proceeded to tell me the story. He got a call from a police officer telling him that she pulled out in front of someone and almost got into a would-be fatal accident and then got pulled over for going 74 in a 55. He wrote her down for 70 so she gets 3 points and we have to pay $120!!!

As if we really need this right now???!!! We are paying $1464 for the two houses that we own (trying to sell one). The bills sort of overlapped because the new house and the up-front amounts to get things turned on. Gas money up the wazoo from moving back and forth two hours. Oh and insurance going up because you have a new driver in the home for one and two insuring HER car that her biological father bought her.

I blew!!!!! It took everything I had not to throw everything I had in my hands at the wall as hard as I could! She just got in trouble for being late. She got a warning the first time and the second time she got punished by not being able to go anywhere the next time she asked. And I had even told her that even though she would get punished, I would rather her be late than speed so she better not speed. What does she do because she was going to be late???? Speed because once again she was going to be late! OHHHH I am so mad!

So now I have $120 that I need to pay because she doesn't have a job YET. And my insurance is going to go up because she got 3 points! It is not what I need right now. I was going to get a job because having to pay two mortgages is making things tight but now I have to get a job right AWAY and no spending on ANYTHING!

Needless to say, Katelin's car is being taken away and we are taking the insurance off of it and I making her go get a job. If she can't get a job, then she is going to volunteer somewhere at least to do her "time".

Sorry all that this was so long and not uplifting but I had to just vent. My daughter, 16 years old just got a ticket when the economy is bad, gas is high, we just moved and now have two house payments! Ahhhhhh!

Every piece of garbage that you do not recycle/compost goes into a dump. Not only does it take FOREVER to degrade but it is ugly and takes up TONS of space!

Think about how much garbage you throw out and then imagine ALL of that sitting in your backyard for a year. Seriously, try to imagine it.

It takes a bit more time to recycle and compost, but I am willing to use that extra time to make a more beautiful place to live in (and cleaner air).

There are three winners in this contest!

The first winner is...............observations-of-life   for recycling every bit he can and his household only throwing out about 4 gallons of trash a month!

The second winner is..........nanasclothingandmore   for throwing out the most amount of trash for their household at about 728 gallons a month!

Now I realize there may be more people that live in the household, but to figure out the amount of trash for each person would have made the contest even more difficult to understand. Which leads me to the third winner..........

Just 3 days ago I finally took out my trash. You want to know how long it took me to fill it up? My brother came here about APRIL 11-18 and we put a new bag in the can when he was here. By the time they left, it was 3/4 full. We finally filled it the rest of the way about MAY 13th. I believe it would have taken a lot longer to fill up........We'll see I guess how long this new one takes. BTW, a bit of baking soda and a top to the garbage takes the odors away.

I have been trying to recycle for a few years now and get better and better at it all the time, but I would love to become greener and greener....so if anyone has any tips, feel freeeeeeee to give them to me ~ Please!

I know you hate spam, but hey there may be someone out there that likes baseball cards.

I've got a box full that I am getting rid of. I don't even remember where they came from and know nothing about baseball cards what-so-ever. If there was a million dollar card in there, I wouldn't know it!

There are only a few names in baseball that I have heard of so I list those names or I list the 1st baseman because I read on a site that 1st basemen can sometimes be rookie cards.

Almost every single one of these cards are in great shape, and who knows, they could be considered mint or something because the corners are almost perfect.

Anyway, if you are into baseball cards, please go check mine out ~ I will be listing lots more if a few of these go.

The house we just moved into has history I guess. When we came to look at it, there was a very old lady (probably 70-80 or more) that owned it.

When we bought it, they had an auction and then just left a bunch of stuff. We found some neat things in the attic and one or two things in the garage.

BUT.....I found a box of textbooks. Good ones with CDs and all.

Now I know this place used to be a "non-licensed" old folks home at one time but I didn't realize until tonight that they may had foreign exchange students here too.

We had found some notebooks with names on them that looked to be foreign (sorry to be stereo-typing) but didn't think anything of it.

But this box of textbooks have shown me that there must have been foreign exchange students and at this moment I do not know what to do with these textbooks!!!

I looked some up but it doesn't seem worth an insertion fee.

I am the type who will give them away if someone can use them but the other will have to pay for the shipping costs. As long as I don't have to throw them out!

Can anyone give me advice?
