I thought I lived where there were no bears! The bears keep coming further and further south and now I am afraid to go outside at night or whenever because today we found bear poop in our yard!!!!! There is not supposed to be bear around here :(

The last few days have been so busy. I tried cleaning my house today and kept getting side-tracked. Because my friend was here, I had to entertain her and I wasn't able to clean my house. Nobody else will help so here it sat getting messier and messier as the weekend went by.

I did the umpteen dishes that sat there, cooked breakfast and then Rich wanted me to take the garbage to the dump. Had to drop off my daughter, had to drop off some cats, had to sit in traffic, had to pick up my daughter again, had to cook dinner, had to clean up after dinner, had to go fish for a bit with my husband and step-son, had to clean out the cage that the cats were in, had to bring in a van load of boxes that my friend gave me to sell, had to help my husband clean a fish because he "forgot" how and had to get on the computer. lol  No time in between to do anything else, so it looks like I'll have to finish cleaning tomorrow after I get a chainsaw blade for my hubby.

My dog has been barking for about a half hour now so I'm wondering if there is another bear out there?!

Went to the employment agency today. Looking for a job because I don't think our house will sell anytime soon. My 19 year old step-son is coming back to live with us so our food bill will be higher. I just don't want to get caught in a bad financial situation so I'm looking now.

I have no experience in anything other than bartending/waitressing and I don't want to go back into that. I took a microsoft word test and typing test today and the lady who did an interview said she was impressed because I only got one wrong on the Word test. I don't even have word on my computer! lol Anyway, she said my typing was good but I honestly didn't like the score because my darn shirt buttons kept getting in the way and I only typed about 56 wpm. She said that even though there aren't many jobs in MI, I am very employable. Hmmmm that is odd! I have no experience in anything but I'm employable?? I just must have been professional enough I guess. lol I'm not complaining though for a nice compliment like that.

Anyway, I am going back to the thumb and going to have a girl's night with my friend that is here from AZ and then tomorrow morning I will head to my dad's place to help him with his house. I'm not sure yet but I may be picking up my step-son on the way back and I will also be picking up my daughter's friend to stay the weekend.

So, I'm headed right now to fix up the spare room and then to cook dinner.

I saw the sun come up today and it made me smile ☺ and it put me in a good mood so I thought I would take a few minutes in Bryce 3D and make a few pics to show you what a difference the sky can do for a mood.

I usually come on at night but once in a great while I will actually start a day out early. :o

Today I woke up with hubby at 6:00 am to make his lunch and decided to stay up because I have an appointment at 11:00. If I had went back to sleep after he left like normal, I would never wake up for the appt!

So anyway, I had a few minutes to spare in between so I got online and researched some stuff and then came here and holy cow! I see the same bloggers that are online at night. The few times I have come on at odd times, I have seen the same few on day and night!

Wow, lol do you ever get any sleep?? lol I thought I spent a lot of time online but wow, I actually clean the house, cook dinner, pay bills, play ping-pong with the kids, do other things with the kids for fun, take dogs for walks, go fishing, watch an hour of tv a day and more! Seriously I thought that I spent too much time online, but I don't feel so bad now. :)

I've even looked at people's past blog posts and noticed that they post all day and all night. lol  Is the toilet seat sitting right next to ya'll? Or could it be that you are going to be stuck to the seat and after a year an ambulance will have to cut you off like they did that one lady?!

Okay now, it is just something funny to me--not insulting anyone cause I've been strapped to my computer for many many hours at a time before. lol

1. I just wanted to let you all know that I really like my daughter's step-mom. The first time I met her I was nervous just because it is awkward and stuff, but she was real nice and over the few years they have been married, I like her more and more. I am so lucky to have this type of situation because I have seen REAL bad situations with steps and x's and all that.....I don't know, I just felt like telling you all that because it makes me smile that I can have nice conversations with my daughter's step-mom.

2. There is a new show called "Hurl!" and when I saw the previews for it today I was just disgusted and angry! What is this world coming to when people actually like to see someone throw up and think it is funny and amusing??? Seriously, it is a game show where they eat a bunch and then are put on a merry-go-round and then these other things to see who can get sick and who doesn't. Isn't that just disgusting?? It seriously just angers me that shows like that are on tv.

3. I would advise anyone with a GPS and kids to go geo-caching! I did it for the first time with the family today and it was fun. It is sort of like a treasure hunt with your GPS. My daughter (16 yrs old) went for the first time a few days ago and she actually liked it! You find an item, which is usually in a sort of hidden spot and in a container (because of weather) and then you write down on the paper that you were there and what day, and you also go online and tell people you found it. They give you hints and such on the website to help you find it easier because some GPS are off by a bit (maybe a few feet or so). Anyway, it is good clean fun that only costs a few bucks in gas (because it is usually only within a few miles or so), it gets the kids outside and it is fun! Sometimes you take an item in the container and leave an item. I don't know much more about it than that because my husband is the one who goes online and finds the stuff to look up. If anyone is interested, I can get the website from him and post it on here tomorrow.

4. is the ? Whit are you here? I got your message but the phone was in use when we got home from geo-caching. NO NOT FISHING! LOL I won't deplete the world of fish because, remember....I can't catch fish for some reason :(  Anyway, had to do a few things and just got on here. So if you are here, I am too :)  ☼

I could go fishing everyday - I love it - it is relaxing - but if I had to survive by fishing, I would die. lol

Seriously, I have gone fishing for hours and hours about every few nights or so. Saturday the four of us went fishing for the day and only caught about 5 fish that were enough to be legal to keep. I cleaned them (which took forever just so I could get ANY meat from them) and today cooked them up and wasn't even enough to feed us- I had to add some store bought fish in there too to make it a meal.  LOL

So even though I love fishing, I have no idea how to do it and would starve to death if that is how I had to feed myself.

Tonight when I went out I learned a lesson though finally. I caught this nice sized large mouth bass and reeled it in nice and smooth and got it right up to me. Instead of sticking my hand down there and grabbing his mouth, I picked up my pole and was going to try to get him out of the water and onto the shore without having to touch him. Yeah ummm no that didn't work. The weight of the bass on the tiny hook just ripped his mouth and he fell off and got away.

Lesson: when you have a big fish, either grab its mouth and pick him out of the water or use a net. lol Nobody EVER said I was good at fishing, I just said I love to do it.

AND WHIT! YOU JUST DON'T EVEN SAY A WORD MISS FISHY POO! LOL

The neighbors behind us have been really friendly with us since we moved here. They are a bit older than us and are retired. They told us a few times to 'come on over anytime' so finally one day my daughter and I went over there to visit. Their names are Dave and Linda.

We talked for a couple hours and before we left, my daughter had a necklace. Dave's hobby is making jewelry and they gave my daughter a "late birthday present". My daughter cried and Linda cried and I almost cried too for the pure fact that it was such a nice gift for not even knowing us. I almost wanted to tell my daughter to refuse it but I know that would be an insult. I mean, these people only talked to us maybe 4 or 5 times as they passed by.

Anyway, the other day I saw Linda out my front window so I went out and she was talking with my husband. She had tickets to "The King Of The Cage" fights at the casino. She didn't want to go so she gave them to us. We gladly accepted because we love watching the UFC and all those type of fights; it would be awesome to see them in real life.

We basically had an hour from the time she gave them to us until the time we had to leave so it was a last minute thing. In the meantime I saw the price of the the tickets! $65 a piece! Our neighbors just gave us tickets that cost $130.

We had a good time. My hubby actually saw some people there he knew that he used to train with when he did the fighting stuff. His old instructor was in "Black Belt" Magazine and trains one of the guys that was fighting that night too.

Anyway, in a world of rude people who lie and cheat and steal, there are many people with big hearts who give of themselves just because it is nice. It is just a surprise when it happens to ya, especially when the person hardly knows you.

Truths----I've been to one (actually a few) Peg and they said I'm fine. I say no I'm not ,something must be wrong with me because I'm so emotional and depressed. They say "Kellie, you have a right to be with all that has happened to you in your life and what people have done to you" They say that they are surprised I do so well considering everything that has happened to me--so thanks Peg but no thanks I don't need to go to another psychiatrist.

You may not believe it but Larry, Observations-of-life, Friskydog, etc. has been very nice to me and got me through a lot of things.

He is not mean to anyone that is friendly to him. He speaks his mind. He gives information and some people think it is boring-not I. He tries to defend himself by giving proof of things without actually saying a name most of the time (MOST) but people think he has no proof or is just a crazy ole man. He does what he thinks is right and people ridicule him and treat him like crap. He even goes so far as thanking some for a gift and gets slammed!

Well, I don't care what you all think about him, he has been great to me. Unless he comes to me and says "I am Aiden--really" or gives me some PROOF that he is a bad person and means harm and cruelty, I will be nice to him and blog with him.

Last time I said this it started a big fight between my brother and I and many others who "follow" my brother. I ended up apologizing for argueing. This time I will not apologize.

Post on here don't mean nothing because none of us see everything! You could be on here 24 hours a day but while you are in one post, someone can be deleting their "terrible" comment in another post and you'll never know it because HE SAID/SHE SAID.

Proof? Go look up the proof. Give me proof. Larry has proof of things that I will not say on here but nobody believes him.

The animal control in my city does not temperment test the dogs per say and I can only walk a few because I have to say that some I am afraid to. I have been bit a few times in my life. BUT I walk a few that I feel comfortable with and I took my kids the last two times I went and they like it a lot! I'm glad.

The dog above is a stray that has been there for about a week. It is a sweetheart. My daughter has walked it two days now and she has fallen in love with it. She says that it loves her too. ♥

The dog below is one that I felt so bad for, along with another pit. They are both so sweet but because they have been getting worse by the day as far as being around other dogs, the officer today told me that it wouldn't be good to walk them in case they somehow got off the leash. I felt so bad because this one was actually crying because it wanted out. It was sort of howling in a way. It was just wanting so bad for some attention. It almost made me cry.

The puppy below with the tan in it is the only one left of the siblings. My son walked the puppy today. Last time he only stuck to the cats. My son fell in love with a kitten last time because she looks exactly like the cat we have now when she was a baby. He also held another kitten today that he fell in love with.

Now out of all the dogs I've walked so far, pitbulls, boxers, bulldogs, big labs etc., this darn beagle was the hardest to walk!!! OH MY it pulled and pulled and choked itself and was weasing but still kept pulling on that collar (which has to be put on like a choke). After two rounds around the property I had to bring it back in because I felt bad that it was choking itself so bad. AND THEN when I tried to get it back in it's cage I fought like crazy! It took me about 5 whole minutes to get it back in, with the help of my daughter. He was fast and strong! I had sweat dripping down my face and neck by the time I was done with that one! LOL

One of the reasons I do it is to help these poor dogs and give them some love, but another reason is to get exercise. I was only going to go maybe once a week or once every two weeks but because it is exercise for myself, I've been going a couple times a week. I really need the exercise and I don't have to pay a gym.

I would love to take these animals home so BAD! I think if I was single I would turn into one of those crazy people who take on tons on animals and have no life. EEEK! Well, probably not because if I really wanted to I could have brought one home already and begged my hubby to keep it but didn't because I tell myself honestly that it is more work! lol

I have two dogs and one cat as it is. They get lots of love from me and I want to keep it that way.

Soooooooooo, do you need exercise? Do you love animals? Then go walk a dog once a week and make them feel loved. Maybe even adopt one. The animal control by me only charges a small amount to adopt (unlike humane society and private shelters) so check yours out. These dogs are put down if they are not adopted. And oh my some of these dogs are so so sweet--like the boxer that I walk. He looks tough but he is so loveable and even likes to give hugs!  I wish I could take him home.

Prayers needed for ladywhitknee.

I can't say on here what is going on but she needs prayers tonight! If ya don't believe in God then please at least think positive thoughts FOR her.
