Fake Brands from China

Ever wonder why some people walk around with thousand dollar PRADA bags and then you see some that don't look quite right if you look twice? And if you look three times you realize it could be because its a PRADO bag and its not leather and even pleather would be nicer than what it is. So anyway, everyone knows that purses are highly copied. But believe me, the fakes are getting better and they are extending out to things like Nike Shox, Northface fleeces, Seven Jeans, and Marc Jacob dresses. They look pretty good to the naked eye. Almost to the point that it might be worth buying and just pretending you didn't realize it was a fake if someone calls you out on it. But.... One warning. These are made in asian countries. So lets say you normally wear a size 8 well, then you better order a size 14 cuz them asian size runs aren't the same.... woah.... Talk about insecurity. Ladies to make yourself feel better. Do the timeless trick. Cut the size tag off and pretend it was never there.  As far as fake bags are concerned. This is one area though where you are just asking for trouble. Woman are huge on real handbags. Someone in the office will know. It might not be worth it. Unless you're a school teacher in which case I'm sure your kids will never snicker behind your back about your GUCHI bag. That's got to be the best.

What in the world will they come up with next?

A WORD OF ADVICE TO THE MANUFACTURERS- the internet is a powerful place. Try looking up the correct spelling before manufacturing a million purses. You might sell more. (wink, wink)

Got any interesting fakes??? Let's see them

Denim-Denim-Denim (Why the craze?)

Nothing in the world is more worn than Jeans. Who would have ever guessed? Rough, blue shaded fabric that costs pennies to make but has now dominated the high-end market with new brands emerging every month. It's an addiction that all started about 5 years ago with a brand called Seven for all Mankind with the infamous gold stitching in the back pocket. Within the first year,  I would see about 20% of the female population between  the ages (20-40) wearing the same jeans. Soon more people caught on to the trend and now you have a plethera of brands, fits, washes and multiple signature pockets per brands.  Citizens came next, then Hudsons, then Chip N Pepper, then Blue Cult, then Joe's, then  Paige, then Antik, then Stitch, then True Religions then Serafontaine and the list can extend longer than I have the character space to type. Now everyone has at least one pair. I wouldn't be suprised if I drove across to to the midwest and saw farmer bill on his tractor with Seven Overalls.  If you look on eBay, you'll see women selling there high-end denim altered for maternity waist bands. Hello? But what I must say is that through the infestation of high-end brands. The best fit and most comfortable are still Seven for all Mankind. Best fitting b/c they have stretch, no stretch, awesome washes, everyone looks 10 lbs lighter and they still have the most unevasive pockets around. You can get classic, dojo or classic with swarovski crystals etc.... You can get mini skirts, capris, gauchos. My fiance who has never bought any article of clothing over a ticket price of $50 found that his favorite pair of jeans, are the Seven's I bought him. Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? He's shopping online at eBay trying to find the best deal for his high-end denim. If i had to be stuck on an island and could only bring one thing, it would be my Seven Flynt's oh and i guess my fiance. So for those that have not bought into the craze because it could potentially be a fad? I hate to say it, but i think its here to stay. Once you go high-end denim, you really cannot go back to your GAP Jeans. It's just more wrong than you can possibly imagine.  Trust me on this. Jeans are like real estate. Prices keep going up. Might as well jump in and make the investment.  I'll be starting my kids off early. That is, when I have kids!
