Fake Brands from China

Ever wonder why some people walk around with thousand dollar PRADA bags and then you see some that don't look quite right if you look twice? And if you look three times you realize it could be because its a PRADO bag and its not leather and even pleather would be nicer than what it is. So anyway, everyone knows that purses are highly copied. But believe me, the fakes are getting better and they are extending out to things like Nike Shox, Northface fleeces, Seven Jeans, and Marc Jacob dresses. They look pretty good to the naked eye. Almost to the point that it might be worth buying and just pretending you didn't realize it was a fake if someone calls you out on it. But.... One warning. These are made in asian countries. So lets say you normally wear a size 8 well, then you better order a size 14 cuz them asian size runs aren't the same.... woah.... Talk about insecurity. Ladies to make yourself feel better. Do the timeless trick. Cut the size tag off and pretend it was never there.  As far as fake bags are concerned. This is one area though where you are just asking for trouble. Woman are huge on real handbags. Someone in the office will know. It might not be worth it. Unless you're a school teacher in which case I'm sure your kids will never snicker behind your back about your GUCHI bag. That's got to be the best.

What in the world will they come up with next?

A WORD OF ADVICE TO THE MANUFACTURERS- the internet is a powerful place. Try looking up the correct spelling before manufacturing a million purses. You might sell more. (wink, wink)

Got any interesting fakes??? Let's see them

I am a COACH addict. I have a COACH store near me and take everything there to be checked for authenticity. I have a friend who is an attorney and she gave me some legal advise--here's what I do when I am bidding: I email them with this note: "Since it is illegal to advertise something as "authentic" when it is not, I am sure your statement that this bag is indeed a real COACH bag is true. Please email me with confirmation that this is indeed a real COACH bag. I will hang on to this statement for future reference." I have had some NOT respond at all (you know what that means), I have had sellers respond saying, "Yes it is authentic," and I have had sellers respond saying, "Well, I THINK it is real, but I am not sure---I will change my page to read as such." They have a responsibility to be truthful, but we can't always count on that can we? We, as buyers also have a responsibilty to protect ourselves against scam artists.
