I had to email this person several times to tell her to CONFIRM her address with PayPal - she never did, and I had to wind up shipping it to her UNCONFIRMED flippin' address. First she didn't respond at all, and then when I said I was going to refund her the money and not ship the item, she emails me back and says that her address IS confirmed (IT ISN'T) - this went back and forth a few times and finally I gave in and shipped it anyway - look at her reply to my FB! I even took the time to explain to her HOW to confirm her address - she still didn't. Obviously this noob has no clue what she is talking about. She confirmed with ME 5 times???? lol Then says for ME to read the PP help?
ARGH!!!!!!!!
Some people just make me want to pull my hair out. I have a problem with a customer....Posted Jun-09-08 09:30:54 PDT Well, not really sure if it's a problem or a glitch, but it's odd. Someone bought something from me on the 7th, I approved his payment via PayPal on the 8th. It was the correct amount, and included shipping: $24.99 + $5.50 = $30.49
Problem is, it is now listed in my waiting to be shipped section, and the shipping cost says FREE, then when I click on "print shipping label", this is what it says:
WHY does it say this???? There are no refunds, nothing out of the ordinary - should state the shipping amount on eBay and PayPal shipping, but it doesn't. Happened to anyone else? About the "0" FB buyers...Posted Jun-04-08 18:53:59 PDT ...this is my tip - I have blocked anyone that lives in an area where I do not ship, I have blocked anyone with NPB strikes, and those with a -1 or more FB. I used to accept Money Orders and Cashier's checks, but no more - there has been a total rash of NP or Bad paying bidders, so I have also retrofitted MOST of my listings to IMMEDIATE PAYMENT required, and have restricted bidding to PayPal account owners only. SO, now I worry less about a bidder if they have "0" FB, knowing that my payment has a better chance of getting to me. I was once a "0" FB myself, not long ago, and everyone has to start somewhere - I'm just cutting the odds of it being a bad transaction this way (that's the way I see it). I do worry, however, about scammers still, and I really and truly do not like some of PayPal's practices, nor their fees, but I have found that since the change, it has been significantly better. I think this was eBay's master plan, anyway - I'm just ahead of the gameplan in implementing it, I suppose. Hope this info helps some of you! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
