Happy 2007 - New Fabrics Coming!

I do hope you and your family enjoyed a pleasant Holiday and New Year Celebration. We traveled and visited friends in So. Texas, enjoying wonderful weather - a bit chill, but, in the low 60's most days - it was never really that cold! We enjoyed our family traditions of sauerkraut (from the German side), and blackeyed peas - both cooked, and pickled (from our Southern roots), And of course roast pig was the main dish - so we are sure to "root ahead" in the new year.

On the quilting front, I returned to Austin and proceeded to re-organize my sewing studio (which is also my eBay "warehouse"), to make better use of some new Elfa Shelving, and created a more comfortable cutting table - it is higher than my old one, and so hopefully my long cutting sessions won't involve sore back muscles, and an aching neck!

I have a large amount of new fabrics to get up on the site, and a way too large inventory of vintage sewing machines ready for "spa" treatment, so please visit my auctions and store in the coming weeks to see the new items. Lots of quilting books, patterns, and notions too... so, if you've a new year's resolution to get started on your first quilt, you'll find plenty of great books, patterns and fabrics to get you going in style!

I've decided to continue my habit of including a free bit of fabric with each fabric purchase, and have decided to keep it at a fat eight (9" x 22")... so, get those fabric orders in, and get a free eight too!
