There issomething fresh in the air!!!

I am not a consistent blogger but I just felt that I had to make my mark on this day, so here are some of my thoughts.

Ah!  I love Fall. My computer has this gorgeous picture of a forest clearing in great fall colors. I could just stare at it and wish I was there sitting on a bench and being one with our maker. Every morning, I walk the dog in the park behind my house. It is a very special time of my day as I dedicate my day to the Lord. I march around the high school, pouring out a blessing and seeking for every one there that enters in those walls, an innundation of every precious and good gift - of knowledge and wisdom, mercy and compassion, loving kindness and goodness, communication and the ability to grasp what is taught and learn new things. I am reminded that within those walls are a new generation of young people that are just about to go out and make their mark upon our world.

But back on topic, fall colors - you may notice how I gravitate toward them? If you check out the colors of the yarns I choose - Fall colors!!! My spirit laughs - it is so amazing that when I come away and scan the choice I have made for the shop, I have chosen mainly, peach, orange, flame, red, cream, brown, etc. Now I would like to convince you, to fill your wardrobe with the colors of Fall. Not only do they brighten up our wardrobe and spread awesome color upon our lives, but they prepare us for winter and color our world at a time when color has been banished. Your projects will be done by then and you can contribute to bringing the color  back during winter. Enjoy and have a blessed day!!!

Crochet, craft quest

I started to crochet using Moda Dea Beloved in Turquoise. This yarn has such a wonderful feel to it. Just touching it makes you want to snuggle. "Baby girl" I said to my daughter,  "Just feel this yarn". She let the yarn run through her fingers, "Mum, she said, "I would love a pj.".

So, guess what, my crochet hook took on this project with a zest. I have completed the top. All I am waiting for is for her to put it on and make any small adjustments and complete the edging. I am still deciding whether I should pursue using the same color for the pants or make it with the color "rose" and tie up the pant to the top with some "turquoise" designs on the pant legs or whether to make pants as well for this top. The jacket is so snuggly. This yarn is super for baby things. I have some left that is available in my store. It is so unfortunate that this yarn has been discontinued as it has been a best seller for me.

I picked up some other great yarns - Nashua, Equinox and Wendy, Fusion. I wish I had more time to use all the stash that I have, but since that is an impossibility, I use this venue to share. Come back and be sure to check out the other great yarns and now soon to come - BEADS, in my store.
