Most Recent Posts The new "lower fees" for sellersPosted Mar-17-08 03:46:41 PDT ok, maybe I need to go over them again, but I could almost bet the house that the much hyped "lowered fees" for selling are actually higher. it look to me that the insertion fees are only lower if you list things like music cd's, books, video games , etc. it is the same price to list as it used to be for other items, for the most part and didn't the final value fees used to start at somewhere around 5% range and now they are almost 9% ? the numbers might be a little off, but I think thats basically close enough. am I wrong? oh, but wait... us power sellers get a discount if we have high DSR's. and the discount is to what? I believe it is the old final value fees we had a month ago. Please tell me I am wrong Are sales slow everywhere? Can I wash these darn eyeglasses in the dishwasher?Posted Sep-02-07 10:17:50 PDT I have lots and lots of vintage eye glasses to sell. Only problem is, they need to be cleaned. Yes, they are used. I pick out the ones that are in better shape. But they still need to be cleaned. I'm talking lenses taken out, for the most part, put in sink and clean with toothbrush. Then dry them, buff out light scratch marks I find, and then take pictures. Then I have to edit the pictures. Half the time, they come out too blurry, too dim, too bright. So that is another question. How do I take the best pictures of eyeglasses? It's all just a lot of work. Especially when you have a baby to take care of. So, can I throw them in a dishwasher? I'm serious. thanks |
