Has anyone heard of seller's setting up a layaway plan for a buyer?

How would something like that work on ebay?  Any help, most appreciated. Kate

Has anyone had any dealings with a buyer, viper317? Buys an item, files a dispute and returns a switched item?

Please let me hear from you... I am in the middle of this kind of  dispute and since this is a big buyer, she can easily purchase the exact bracelet in sterling and switch it on me if I am forced to accept it back by paypal.

Any info would help.

I have tracked a bidder who claimed identity theft and didn't know when she could pay me.  The same day, by some odd coincidence I find her bidding on another ebay store. I notified her that I am aware of her duplicity and that I expect payment.

Bottom line is that as a newbie to ebay I have already had a bad experience with at least 5 bidders.  I think ebay needs to be more forceful in following up on both sides of the issue.  Lousy sellers and lousy buyers.  I get my FVC fee refunded but what about my listing fees?  Not fair, not fair.

I know that I can't be the only one that gets tired of the fables and short stories that buyers can come up with to get out of a winning bid.

Ebay, you can do so many wonderful things, lets devote some time, energy and brain power to resolve these recurring issues.
