Most Recent Posts playstation 3 price cutPosted Jul-10-07 05:49:23 PDT i knew this had to happen soon.the ps3 just isnt selling that well.i work part time at a gamecrazy store, and everybody talks about the ps3,but when they see the old $599.99 price tag, thats all they do is talk about it.i think it is a very high price, but in reality it is a good deal if you were looking for a blu-ray player and a game system.well, now the 60 gb is $499.99 new, plus there is a mail in deal to receive 5 blu-ray movies free with the purchase of a brand new ps3,so thats a damn good deal. i personally will now be looking for a used 20 gb ps3.i should be able to attain one for about $350.00,me thinks.i dont care so much about blu-ray,i just want it for a game system.i gotta play me some motorstorm!! out of whack thrift store pricingPosted Jul-08-07 17:41:08 PDT hi.as a ebay seller,i hit the thrift stores at least 3 days a week looking for stuff to sell on ebay for profit and for my own collections as well.something i have noticed over the last few years at thrifts are,the crazy, out of whack pricing.for example, video game systems.i was at a local good will, and i see a bare sony playstation system for $20,and a complete sony playstation system for $10.what?i dont understand how they price a loose system for more then a complete one.this happens alot with various items.if you ask an employee, they act like they cant talk about it.anybody have an "inside track"on the pricing of these places.im guessing most of these employees dont know whats worth what, but maybe they should have a universal price for such things? |
