After filing a complaint with the BBB we received an apology and explaination from paypal. We are not quite so angry now. Live and let live I quess. Still waiting to see if ebay refunds our lost income for the listings that had bids. I'm not holding my breath on that one. But I do expect an apology from them. If not we will lodge another complaint.

We wanted them to relist all the items they deleted but we are tired of waiting so we have gone ahead and replaced them all ourselves.

When you sell for others what do you charge? A % of the sale price? Or a flat fee for your service plus listing,and final value fees of course.

We have a lot of people asking us about selling things for them.

We are breathing a sigh of relief. We just heard from  the people in Canada that bought Sues Bass. It got there and they are happy with it, they even left us postive feed back already! Praise God. We were very worried about it getting there in one piece.

We had a great time at church this morning. Sue and I led worship and we did a nice job of the songs we picked. Next weekend it's back to the whole six piece group "Spirit of Joy."

This picture was taken at Puertocitos. A small village about 50 miles south of San Felipe. There are hot springs there that come out of the rocks by the sea. There are three pools. They are so hot you have to time dipping in them with the tides.

I don't know the story about the boat on the house.

We had some clouds today, but no rain. It's still hot and humid.

Okay. I'm almost over my mad. I spent the afternoon relisting. And sold one item and have a bid on another. Things are looking better. I'm almost afraid to sell things though, in case it upsets the powers that be. BBB filed the complaints, so we are just waiting to see if apologies come rolling in. 

Off across the Border tomorrow to mail out items.

We managed to get a supervisor on the phone from paypal. After quite abit of bantering back and forth we got them to take some extra info from us to put on file that we could not do on our end. With us having Canadian id, an American bank acct, a Mexican Ph# we were not able to fill out the electronic info. They don't allow for anything out of the ordinary. That certainly is our situation. We had managed to enter a Calexico US Ph# (a computor Ph#)but they tried to contact us with the incomplete Mexican one. We had removed it anyhow! When we did not answer they shut everything down. Reason for contacting us was... "Recent activity has raised concerns" , why did such a new acct. have so many sales? And where was our bill of sales for the items? Sounded to me like they were saying...(WE THINK YOU ARE SELLING STOLEN PROPERTY)  How come we have so much money in this new acct?

So if I'm correct... You will be hassled if YOU do any of the following:

-MAKE TO MUCH MONEY (DON'T BE SUCCESSFUL)

-HAVE NICE ITEMS THAT ACTUALLY SELL (JUNK IS BETTER)

-BE HONEST WITH YOUR INFO (JUST LIE AND TELL THEM WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR)

-EXPECT SOMEONE TO ACTUALLY LOOK INTO THINGS BEFORE TRASHING YOUR REPUTATION (NOPE)

I'm sorry but I don't get it? I thought the whole idea of ebaying was to sell nice items that are described properly so that they will sell for a good fair price that keeps your buyer happy and makes you some money.

We have filed complaints against both Paypal and Ebay with the BBB in hopes that we are not unfairly and illegaly harrassed for a third time.

This time it cost us 4 sales(items that already had bids. A number of our other items had watchers(more potential sales) All the ebayers we dealt with had the 100% positive feed back we left deleted. (So they were punished for dealing with us!)

What a wonderful way to build up a client base.

I don't usually blog. I leave that to Ken, but I am inspired to write this morning. The sun is just coming up and it's another beautiful day in San Felipe. I filed two complaints last night with the BBB. One against each of the heavy hitters. Paypal and eBay. And while I realize both companies need to be on guard against fraudulent practices, I don't think one unanswered automated phone call warrents closing of all accounts. I am going to persue this matter further. Anybody have any suggestions?

We get up this morning and see that we have sold 2 more items! Yehaw! What an awesome way to start off our day. We have bids on 4 other items and watchers on lots of others. We go out shopping, get back home, check our listings and... SURPRISE! Paypal has locked our bloody acct. AGAIN. Second time in 30 days! Ebay has locked us out, deleted all our listings, and sticks a big notice beside our ebay id that says "NO LONGER A REGISTERED USER". What a bunch of BS! We have done eveything but send these (BAD WORD) a blood sample and we are still getting the 3rd degree. I feel insulted, disrespected, unappreciated, and falsely accused of some apparent wrong doing. Recent account activity? What? We are doing to good a job of making ebay money off our listings? That is all anyone said... Recent account activity. Can someone explain that to me? We are both VERY upset at this ignorant treatment. We have spent the better part of today tring to get this mess staightened out. After two phone calls, a bunch of emails, filling out forms (OR TRYING TO) Taking pictures of ALL OUR ID. Passports, drivers licences, bills, bank statements and sending it to the people at paypal. We finally get someone to clue in that we are who we say we are.  WE are NOT selling STOLEN property. WE are NOT a store or business, and no,  WE are not doing anything illegal.  They unlock our acct at Paypal. Then Ebay decides we should have the privilage and honor of not being unregistered any longer. No apology, no reason giving at any time for this crap, nothing. We go to look at our for sale listings (30 plus) and what a pleasent surprise... they are all gone. So the hours we spent  taking pics, typing up the listings, wasted, 4 bids gone, all the people that were watching our items gone! SH-T what kind of excuse can anybody give me for this garbage? Oh, and lest I forget. Ebay in all their wisdom decides they should delete ALL the feed back I have left for all my buyers and sellers. Thanks alot for wasting even more of my time! What about my reputation? Is someone emailing my buyers to tell them there has been a big mistake made? The people that were watching items? Someone that might have stopped in at my world page and noticed the big red letters stating I had been STRIPPED of my registration? I bloody well boubt it. Thanks a lot Paypal and Ebay for your defamation of my reputation, for trashing the hard work we have put in tring to build up a client base, a reputation, and yes, a working relationship with you. Thanks for the kick in the teeth. I highly doubt I will ever ebay again. Paypal locked up our account and held our money hostage while they played little games with us. It will be when hell freezes over that I would ever let those thieves  touch One cent of my money again.

So this is probably going to be the last blog you guys are ever going to see from me. I  intention is to close out my ebay and paypal acct. and that will be that. The FUN we were having ebaying has been completely destroyed over this. If we cool off before we shut everything down. There is a wild chance that we will hang on but ebaying will NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN! I have completely lost my faith in this companies integrity, honesty, customer service, and so called principals. Ebay you just pushed away a loyal and enthusiastic supporter. It is totally your loss. I buy tons of stuff on ebay and I sell lots of stuff. OR should I say DID! Adios 

WooHoo! Another one bites the dust! We are on a really nice roll. Show me the money! Yeah baby, if this keep happening, we might just quit doing much of anything else. Well... except cuddling!

We have given up on shipping anywhere outside of the states. Two times now we have had a bunch of trouble with tring to print up postage. We were going to ship DVDs by 1st class international because it would be reasonably cheap. When we went to print it would not show that option. So for a $4.99 DVD it was showing $20.00 and change! And on the other option it was 3 x what the item was worth. Then you have a bunch of stupid forms to down load and fill out...OY!

You know what? My time is to important to me to waste half an hour or longer tring to get get something done that should take 1 minute. So we went back to all our listings and too off anything that had to do with crossing a border.

Bloody hell, I mean come on. To send something across to Canada they won't supply you with the on line postage you have already charged the buyer for? No. Instead they want you to pay some insane price for an option you do not want. They will be making ZERO $ off of us from now on.
