Archive - September 2007 Gooooooooooood Morning Fellow Blogers! 5:30am in San FelipePosted Sep-09-07 05:56:35 PDT Hola from super sunny San Felipe! We woke up to a demanding kitty at 4:30 noticed how nice and cool it was outside and decided to stay up. Sue is watering and I am waxing the Jeep. I have been doing a bunch of work on the Jeep to make it more reliable. New gas tank (Sue helped with that) fuel pump, plugs wires, distributer cap, rotor. We have a radiator, all the hoses, pvc valve, thermostat , fan belts and a new carberator on the way. End result will be alot more confidence in the old girl when we are out in the desert and running around the Baja. You do not want to break down out in the middle of nowhere when the temps are in the triple digits! Hope everybody is doing fine and having an awesome day. See ya'll later! The sun is just about to peek over the horizen of the Sea of Cortez, so I will be able to see what I'm doing on the Jeep... duh! Adios amigos. Ken Awesome day for us! 3 big $ sales and 3 others! Yehaw!Posted Sep-05-07 21:18:41 PDT Sue listed an antique ladies watch and it sold within an hour! We woke up to $250.00 worth of listings gone! Yo mama! On the down side, the waves are crashing in on the beach here big time. We can see waves of 5-10 feet pounding the walls at the bottom of peoples beach front homes. Big wind all day with some huge gusts. Praying for a break from the lord! I'm not in a hurry to see my first hurricane up close and personal. BIG WIND in San Felipe-it broke a palm tree! OY...Posted Sep-02-07 07:00:12 PDT Hola from sunny but VERY WINDY San Felpe. After spending several hours yesterday getting the place swept and all pretty for a possible buyer of the 1 $million point 3 house we are staying at till it sells. Sue and I got up this morning to a scene that looked like a bomb had gone off! The whole court yard was covered with leaves, sand and garbage. It was blowing so hard it broke one of the palm trees off at the top out front by the Sea of Cortez! Not a real easy thing to pull off. Oh well, we have reswept the grounds stood the plants back up and shoveled the sand back off the side walks. Looks not to bad again. It is still better than dealing with snow no matter how you slice it! Off to church at 8am to play the music with our worship group " SPIRIT of JOY." Talk to everyone later on. It has been getting into the 100s here so we will be inside after church for the rest of the day! Adios amigos. |
