Archive - March 2007 I tried that Link Referral site Toy express was talking aboutPosted Mar-26-07 12:50:03 PDT Updated Mar-26-07 12:52:19 PDT  So the other day Toy Xpress was talking about the Link Referral site, well I had bookmarked the site and decided to check it out, signed up today, which is FREE, then basically you look at peoples site's review them and they can do the same for you. Within in an hour I had recieved an ebay message from someone who's site I had just reviewed, HOW COOL :0) we are now doing a link exchange. www.linkreferral.com Also another tip which I think Helpful hannah had posted about this morning is Google Base. I uploaded a couple of items from each of my store catergories this morning and I am already seeing an increase in traffic. Haven't quite figured out how to bulk upload yet! It is Spring Break for us this week, anyone else on Spring Break? Is it the same week for the whole of the US or does it depend were you live? My 6 yr old is actually still in bed, which is unbeliveable because normally he is up at the crack of dawn. Today we are going to do some Easter crafts I think, but it depends on the weather, if it is nice today we will probably head outside to play. So what are you all up to? We were storm free here last night, just a bit of rain, but this morning it is clear blue skies and the sun is out. Last night I finally finished the blanket I had bought the material for last year. I am a knightmare, I see a craft or a hobby and I think I can do that get the stuff and then it sits and it takes me forever to do it. It took me a good 3 hours to do this blanket and I tell ya what my hat goes off to DDskitty, because although it looks pretty easy to make the tassle blankets, it was a lot of bending down and cutting and tying it took me forever :0) Please so everyone knows this is just a hobby for family and friends, I will not be competing with ddskitty because she does AWESOME blankets. But here it is take a look, it is for my husband  My other obsession right now is this site http://www.projectplaylist.com/ I have one of these on myspace but I use it when I want to have music on because it has some of my favorite songs on, I tried the other day to share on the blogs but it wouldn't work. They are so much fun, hubbie and i were searching for songs from the 80's last night, and even down to the boy bands you listened to as a teenager, so funny hearing those songs again. WOW what weather we have been having here in New Mexico. We live in Albuquerque and we have had some major rain and thunderstorms, but last night tornado's touched down in the southern/eastern part of the state, and thankfully all of my husbands family are accounted for. But my heart goes out to those people who have lost their homes or have had damage caused by these storms. THIS WEATHER IS JUST CRAZY. So what have we all been up to today? How are sales? No more leaking all over the counter no more having to stick the basket with tape, such a joy this morning to not have to wait and watch and see if the coffee machine leaked, NO just nice brewing coffee straight into the pot. I had to take hubbie to work this morning and normally I make it home in time to get son on the bus. Not this morning, every traffic light was red and when they did change green they were letting about 5 cars through at a time and that was it. Now someone had said on the radio the other day that the traffic lights had not yet adjusted to change in time springing forward and all. Well HELLO people it has been a week now. I honestly don't know if I believe that about the whole change in time screwed the Traffic lights up, I personally think that someone in the department of transportation is sitting there in the morning with their donut and coffee and playing "how many cars shall I let through the lights this morning!" So slight panic last night when I suddenly remembered that today was Mothers Day in England.
