I have finally learned my lesson about buying from sellers with a less then near perfect feedback rating which is sad because some negative feedbacks are in retaliation for valid negative feedback left for someone else. Case in point, I recently purchased something for 85.00 plus 15.00 shipping. Weeks went by and though I sent several inquiries I recieved ZERO response. I finally opened a dispute through paypal to get my money back, still no response to me or paypal, not even a lame excuse as to why my item had never shipped. I did recieve a refund but never a word back from the seller. Now I could go and leave a negative feedback but after reading the retaliatory feedbacks left for others in the same situation I decided against it because I am also a seller and do not want to see my score go down because of someone else's inability to treat customers with respect. I find this retaliatory feedback subject to be a terrible flaw in the auction system. Right now there are two sellers I have bought from who refuse to make contact with me even though I made immediate payments to them weeks ago. How can I as a buyer alert the other buyers of these bad sellers without putting my own feedback score in jeopardy?
