Sellers with bad feedbacks.....

I have finally learned my lesson about buying from sellers with a less then near perfect feedback rating which is sad because some negative feedbacks are in retaliation for valid negative feedback left for someone else. Case in point, I recently purchased something for 85.00 plus 15.00 shipping. Weeks went by and though I sent several inquiries I recieved ZERO response. I finally opened a dispute through paypal to get my money back, still no response to me or paypal, not even a lame excuse as to why my item had never shipped. I did recieve a refund but never a word back from the seller. Now I could go and leave a negative feedback but after reading the retaliatory feedbacks left for others in the same situation I decided against it because I am also a seller and do not want to see my score go down because of someone else's inability to treat customers with respect. I find this retaliatory feedback subject to be a terrible flaw in the auction system. Right now there are two sellers I have bought from who refuse to make contact with me even though I made immediate payments to them weeks ago. How can I as a buyer alert the other buyers of these bad sellers without putting my own feedback score in jeopardy?

If they did not respond to a PayPal dispute they lose their right to leave you feedback. SO you can leave your negative feedback. If they try to leave you any type of FB e bay will immediately erase it. You will not even have to ask them to.

I never buy anything major from someone with bad feedback score unless it is something inexpensive

I know the feeling. I have a situation like yours.

I bought an item from someone and haven't heard anything from them. It's been two weeks. I opened a dispute via PayPal, because I paid through them. I sold an item and opened a dispute with eBay, and have heard NADA. It's very frustrating. Why do people bid or sell if they don't intend on going through with it?

We are all held ransom. I without fail leave Negative feedback for non-paying bidders. In return I have several neutral and negatives in retaliation. But I refuse to not warn other sellers in a selfish act to save myself.

Hi, i have a problem that sellers not all, hold all the power.
I BELIEVE THAT SELLERS SHOULD LEAVE FEEDBACK WHEN THE ITEM IS PAID FOR
AND NOT WAIT UNTILL THE BUYER LEAVES FEEDBACK. If you dont leave posative feedback
you will recieve negative feedback for doing the correct thing.
