June and it all goes wrong.

Now the monkeys claim it was nothing to do with them but everything fell apart at the seams at the end of May. Our phone line just stopped working which meant no internet and so we couldn't access Ebay. So we reported the fault to our phone company who said they would fix it straight away. Anyway two weeks later and a lot of angry phone calls (using mobile phone of course!) to our phone company and finally they found a bloke with a ladder to climb up the pole and sort the problem out. Anyway this has caused endless problems for us as we couldn't access internet. Trying to sort everything out during my lunch break at work and some internet cafes slowed everything down and then I was struck down with a virus which meant I couldn't even leave the home!

Anyway I just wanted to apologise for all those people whose items took ages to turn up and especially those who thought we were ignoring their messages. We just couldn't read them! We did send the stuff that was really late 1st class to make up for the delay but obviously it wasn't that great service. So sorry.

Anyway its all fixed now and the monkeys have been banned from fiddling with the phone wire so hopefully we shouldn't have the problem again. I am waiting to find out why it took two weeks for a guy to shimmy up a pole to reattach a wire but just glad its all fixed.

May- Sun is out for a bit

Well the sun has been out for a bit so all the monkeys have been sitting outside sipping cocktails and enjoying the sun.
I had hoped to tell you about our trip to Chester Zoo but if you have ever taken 100 over exicted monkeys to a zoo then your know how stressful it is. I am still trying to get over the trauma so maybe next month I will feel like talking about it.
This weekend we are taking them to the Lake District and they are all going on boats and climbing up the hills.
We are also hoping to adopt a dog. Neogiating a deal with our landlord to let a dog live at our little home. Just as well he doesn't know about all the monkeys!!!

April Fool

Its been a slow month and the monkeys have been sitting around watching their tapes of Eastenders. Its their favourite program. They ususally watch the repeats on BBC3 in the late evening as I don't watch it usually.

So we are taking all the monkeys out for the day to Chester Zoo. We have the coach tickets booked and will be packing lots of sandwhiches. We also will be counting the monkeys out and counting them back just to make they don't sneak any monkeys from the zoo on. More news on that in May's update.

Nothing much has been happening so there is little to report. Hopefully the weather will improve soon and the monkeys will be able to sit in the garden with the radio on.

March- Easter!

Happy Easter to you all. All the monkeys are taking Easter off so for this reason we will not be listing any items between 6th-13th March and then we will be listing items from 13th March onwards but only as auction items. No buy it now. Then from 20th March onwards we will be back to normal! We also may not be able to answer any messages during this time but will try out best. So please stay patient.

What with floods, high winds and earthquakes these past few weeks then we need a break!!!

Wet February

Well sad news to start off with this month. My computer died a death. Being a Dell computer it can tell you what is wrong with it by a series of beeps and flashing lights. So I spent an afternoon listening to my computer beep and flash and trying to work out what it was telling me. Anyway found out what was wrong and decided to get someone professional to take a look just in case. As I type this I am still waiting for it to be repaired. Because of this I have to use an old slow laptop which means everything takes twice as long. So please be patient.

We also need got rushed away with the water. Flooding in West Yorkshire around our area affected us. Overlooking a canal and a river we watched as the water got higher and higher but luckily we escaped any flooding. Places nearby were badly affected but luckily all the monkeys stayed dry. They have kept their wellington boots just in case though.

UPDATE: Everything is now fixed on the computer. It cost me an arm and a leg and a couple of toes but we are up and running again.
