You need to check with Humane Society they should have a list, of people that do rescue,  Unfornately my area, I called all of them,  Three never responded, the one said they would come and get the cat and kittens,   Never showed up.  There are I'm certain great people rescueing, and then maybe some overloaded not sure.  That is why we started doing what we do, and care for the ones that seem to find us ;).  Check with your community Humane Society, hopefully they can help you with the strays in your area.
