We are our own worst enemy. Men still treat women as inferiors and I say it is because we buy into the projection of women as sexual objects, strutting about in high heels, enlarging our breasts, applying fake fingernails. Don't we seem superficial?  In order to make the world a better, safer place for women we need to put the brakes on the excessive sexual connotation associated with being female.

It should be mandatory that girls get martial arts training in gym class as early as possible.  Cultivation of our minds and talents should take a precedence over looking pretty to please men or hurrying to get a mate and marry.  Women could make a huge difference in politics, education and the future if we could come together and agree that pornography, strip clubs, suggestive advertising and cosmetic surgery are no longer acceptable in our lives.  Why are we so gullible that we allow men to dictate how we should look and behave, ala advertising, the media and Madison Avenue?
