I have aquired a bunch of cook books. Listing cookbooks is not easy for me. Every time I pick one up I find myself wanting to keep it. Sooooo better look at them fast before I change my mind! I just listed a great one! The Route 66 Cookbook. It is in really good condition. The lady that owned it had a bunch of recipes marked with pieces of paper sticking out the top of the book. I got a lot of cookbooks from her and this one had more markers than any of them I have looked at so far. Must be good recipes! I also have a creole cookbook and a cajun cookbook listed. If you like good food this is the place to be. I must also mention a book that I have that is dated 1879. It is entitled Housekeeping in Ol' Virginia and it has recipes and hints galore from that date. Keep watching and maybe even sign up for my newsletter to see this item which is coming soon. It is in great antique condition. The pages are yellowed but I guess when I am over 100 years old I will yellow a bit myself! lol I will be listing it next week sometimes. Keep watching! things you like to see listed. I wonder sometimes what people want. I
know they want it as cheap as possible and I understand that. All at
the same time...I have to pay bills! I think we can all relate to that.
My husband says something to the effect of..."Who's Bill? I don't even
know Bill, why should I give him any money. I wish Bill would just go

Hope to get it filled with all kinds of things. Am going to start some auctions tonight and maybe everyday this week. I have so many things I don't know where to start. Having computer problems this week. I think it is a conspiracy. My puter has been just waiting for me to need it so it could crash and mess up my world! lol Glad I have a trusty old faithful waiting to catch me when I fall. Going to do some listing no matter what. Does anyone know where the best place to take a crashed lap top to would be. Have always done my own computer work but this one defies me. Will be the first time I have ever taken a puter to the shop. Wow....a feeling of helplessness overwhelms me! I am learning a lot about ebay and other things as well that I find quite interesting. Now I guess I should get to work and put up some new listings! I wish people wouldn't wait until the last minute to bid on auction items. It drives me nutso. lol I am going to be putting up some clothing and more vintage and collectible stuff this week. Have so much stuff I don't know where to start! Anybody have anything they are looking for let me know and I will see if I have something of that nature. Thanks! |
