Frequently Asked QuestionsPosted Nov-28-06 20:05:47 PST Why sell so cheap? Well, the reason I began to sell was not to list thousands of bulk items and a week and turn a 2$ profit from each. I am an economical, even thrifty gal who just believes in being practical and generous! Almost every item I list starts at under 9.99, quite a fair price. But none of us can help how we love with the perfect purse or coat. I often list items at a 90-95% discount off of the MSRP and let the bidding begin. Winners pay anywhere from .99 to 350.00, it just depends! Do you ship outside the US? Sure. In fact, most of the time when the shipping cost is high for you (sometimes higher than the sale price) it is more practical to win several items. Instead of paying 23$ for shipping on one item, you get 3 or 4 items shipped for 28$, etc. I always work with international bidders because the shipping cost is more. Please be sure you know the rates before bidding, though. All items are sold "as is", does that mean they are damaged or defective? No! I simply say this because the vintage business can be tricky. I do not sell defective or destroyed merchandise, and if something is wrong I state so in the description. However, vintage is vintage, new is new and used is used. I cannot possibly explain every small dot on a vintage item. For this reason, I have the condition scale on every auction page, a reference as to what shape each item is in. The definitions are not nessecarily what is wrong; a bag in good condition may not have wearing on straps and small markings inside...but it is best that you expect that than a brand new bag.Many items are barely used if at all, if you have any concerns at all, just ask me questions. Do you carry designers and couture labels? Of course. Just a few of the designer labels I have sold are Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, Hartmann, Lederer, Vassar, Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Perlina, Christian Dior, Chanel, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Juicy Couture, Maxx New York, DKNY, Aldo and the list goes on and on. What is your return policy? At this time, I do not offer any returns. I do value your satisfaction, and if you have understood the terms of sale, in certain cases a mutual agreement or exchange can be made. But as far as returns go, you must be committed before you bid. I have this rule to protect my ability to offer you second-hand items at low cost. Do you offer any discounts? Sure do. Once you win an item, shop around for more. This will save you $2.00-$3.00 off the shipping cost for each item you win! I just found my daughter (living in rainy Oregon) the perfect vintage umbrella. This month I am listing lots of lots. Pick one and get multiple items for one low cost. One shipment too! Look for overloaded handbag lots and sets. As promised, I have lots of vintage goodies to offer- records, clothing and handbags of course. Here's what I've noticed going quick... - Alligator, snakeskin, or faux KELLY bags, thats a triangular shaped handbag that features a strong metal frame. They open wide and offer durability, organization and chic, neat style! Vintage Jackie O' style Kelly Bags are always a favorite, but this season they are in demand! - Luggage.
