First of all let me say I love ebay!  There are alot of great people who ebay.  But there are also alot of people that are not so cool.  I always ship out an item I have sold the morning after I am paid.  If there is a federal holiday and the post office is closed for a day then there isn't much I can do about it.  So therefore a package might take an extra day to get to where it belongs.  I do not think one should mark that my shipping time isn't good because the post office was closed.  Especially if that holiday is veterans day!  Oh my goodness!  Seriously, I'm not going to give someone a mark because my $1.00 pair of jeans took a day extra to get to me so the world could acknowledge our veterans...  Man that really upsets me!!!

Plus, on shipping charges.  I charge by what the package weighs.  I put the item in whatever I'm shipping it in then I weigh it and then will go to the post office website and figure out my postage.  There have been times I've charged a quarter to much and times I haven't charged enough and got stuck with the bill!  I do not do this on purpose but it is hard to be exact especially using paypal.  But usually I am within a dime of being right on with what I get charged!  I do not think buyers realize how much it cost to ship.  I was just talking with a friend the other day who was complaining how much ebay sellers charge for shipping.  I explained to her how much shipping cost and that the sellers cannot control this.  She did not know that.  If you think someone is trying to rip you off you should really go look at the price of shipping.  It isn't cheap. 

There have been numerous times I've sold and item for 99 cents and after paypal and ebay take their fees I'm left with a whopping 12 cents!!!  I do not like it when that happens but I deal with it.  I'm not going to mark on my buyers feedback that they are stinky because of it.. It isn't their faults!!  No more than the post office being closed is my fault..  Ok I feel better getting all of this off my chest.
