Most Recent Posts Wanted: Persian KittenPosted Oct-29-07 00:38:57 PDT Looking to get a Persian Kitten this Christmas as a gift. Trouble spot is, I don't know where to start looking to get this little fellow... Any tips, suggestions, or favorite places to get kitten? Thanks!! Pins and Some Laughter!Posted Sep-29-07 02:38:35 PDT Eeee... I finally received the Chip N Dale pins I've been waiting for! It's very exciting becase now I'm hoping I can go and get a lanyard hopefully on Sunday at Disneyland. Ah... All the excitement is getting to me. It's going to make work go by so slowly tomorrow and ESPECIALLY on Sunday. My poor trainees, they're going to hate me and wonder what's wrong with me since I'll be starting at the clock all day and cursing that time doesn't go by any faster. Ugh... Or maybe I should just wait till Xmas comes and get my wonderful 40% off instead of the usual 20%. Oh the choices the choices... Special little thank you to the seller SPYBRO!! The pins were awesome and flawless and I thank him for that. :) He's got really good packing too if you're a stickler on that part. Hahaha... So if you want pins, he's a good seller to go to b/c I most definitely am next time. :D Today was pretty much all work and little play. But man... Today's day one training turned out to be a blast. I felt so bad for my poor trainee. It's my second time training on my own and so far there haven't been any casualties on my side, which is good, but I'm still new and still aquanting myself with many things. Like today, I did the single most embarassing thing ever. So at Disneyland, we all have costumes and on a new hires first day of training, we take them to our world famous costuming department to pick up their wardrobe. After the usual standard intro and whatnot, I take my trainee to costuming to get cloths. Me being the idiot I am, just go to where I usually get my costume. So usually when you get stuff in costuming we usually tell new hires they have to reaquaint themselves to the whole sizing system because it's "Disney-a-fied." Putting that aside, when my poor trainee went to get his clothes, he was excessively frustrated that the sizes were so significantly different from his usual mesurements, but me being the airhead I am brushed it aside thinking oh it's because it's in "Disney Measurements." So there we were stuck inside costuming for only a whole hour trying out various pants until we finally found the right ones that fit. It wasn't until we were got to the checkout area that things started to go terribly wrong. We get there and while the lady was checking out his costume, suddenly a ton of error messages pop up saying my trainee has the wrong pants. She's just as visibly puzzled as I am as to why these pants aren't checking out because these are the right pants for our location and we both know it. So she calls over her supervisor who is equally as perplexed as we are and after a little clicking here and there, the guy starts examining the pants. Then he starts to chuckle, looks at me, and asks "So were you shopping for yourself or for your trainee today? B/c these are FEMALE PANTS." Omg... I just died right then and there. I felt so bad... AHHHHH... We all just broke down and laughed at me. I just love my trainee though because he took it so well, but man... I can't believe I made him try out some female pants. Apparently the male pants were just across the aisle from the female ones. Way to go me on training day one. The rest of training went really well and without incident though if you're wondering... I didn't tramatize the poor thing any more needlessly, I'm not that cold hearted. Well I better go get some sleep or else... I might say or do something stupid and cause that kid some more unessesary pain/trama manana. And we wouldn't want that now would we? XP Oh Noes... Which Class to Take?!Posted Sep-27-07 23:42:38 PDT Updated Sep-28-07 01:24:31 PDT The Problem: So I'm at a huge dilemma right now. I'm currently jammed packed at 20 units and I know I can only handle 16 units with a heavy work load from my two jobs. So that brings the ax down on one of my two elective classes, "Globalization and Its Discontents" or "Intro to Human Memory." The problem is I really like both of the topics and just don't know which to choose from... So here's the laydown for each class. The Options: 1) Intro to Human Memory 2) Globalization and It's Discontent SO... Comments!!!Posted Sep-27-07 10:44:25 PDT I must say, I'm pretty suprised to see that two people left me comment. XD That makes me feel special it's like for once in my life someone is reading out there. Hahaha... It's awesome so thanks to you all that stopped by. I guess I'll be taking my first commentee's suggestion by keeping this around and even if I don't like it, I'll just simply leave it be. Whee... The funs of knowing people actually do stop by is a nice thought to start the day off with. So yeah... After my insomnia last night, I somehow miracilously managed to wake up somehow this morning at 6:30AM without incident. As a matter a fact, I was actually more energized than I usually am. Shocking for those that know me... I'm pretty lethargic and would sleep through the whole day if I could manage it. I managed to plow through my very first lecture of the day with actually much enthusiasm and was quite shocked that people considered her to be one of the most boring psychology professors. She really is quite amusing to listen to. I took much pleasure learing about Classical conditioning and Operant Conditioning from her today. Her random remarks here and there really did help stuff stick. But we'll have to see, I think it's maybe because I'm on overhype right now. I'm just so excited to be back... *cough cough cough* The thought of having to survive another 4 classes today gives me a headache. *sobs* Oh why did I do this to myself again... *sobs* I just never learn. XD Suprise suprise... TOMORROW IS FRIDAY!! That starts off... my working time. How sad... Most of us look forward to friday and here I am dreading it because I have to start going to work again. This week of newfound freedom really has spoiled me. Oh wells, if I think about it positively I am after all going to work at the happiest place on earth, but then on the downside, I have to train people, get yelled at by the manager mop for asking for too many days off and causing him pain, and listen to guest ask the most ridiculous of questions. Whoots... My friend came!! Time for tetris! XD Laters guys! Yeah I'm random.. XP You'll get use to it though. :3 My First Official EntryPosted Sep-27-07 01:54:02 PDT So I'm testing this out to see how I like it... So if it disappears soon I probably didn't like it much. :D In any case... I can't sleep, it's the day before school starts and I can't sleep. What a convinient time for insomnia... So I thought I'd do something to pass time by and happened upon my eBay User Profile. So now, I've basically set up a blog, a bio, and a guestbook. So exciting... So tomorrow is the big day, my five days wait and tormenting torture is finally coming to an end. THE LOT IS FINALLY ENDING AND I CAN WIN THE LOT OF CHIP N DALE PINS!!! Sad... This is what happens when a college student gets bored... We surf on eBay mindlessly all day when we have nothing better to do, but then again it's Chip N Dale and I love them. They make my day everytime I go to Disneyland. Which ironically has been almost everyday for the past few months... It's kind of hard not to go there since I work there, but Chip N Dale have got to be one of the best characers arounds. I mean who else gets to mess around with everyone and not get in trouble? Do you ever see Mickey Mouse messing around with the kids or parents? No... At least I would hope not b/c if Mickey did actually did do that he probably would've gotten fired... X-x Ahh.. It seems at long last, the first hints of slumber have hit me, so I guess it's time for me to go hit the sacks. :D Thanks for dropping by and hope to shop from you soon!! G'nite. |
