How can we truely feel comfortable sending our kids off to school...! 

Our HS went into complete lockdown today, and was completley surrounded by all emergency personnel as well as the SWAT team...!  For 6 hours these kids remained in lockdown, while the SWAT team padded down every single kid, and searched every locker and nook and crannie in the school and concerned parents gathered outside the school and stood amidst rumors of what was or had happened since school began at 8:00 this morning...!

All of this because some goofy kids leave a threatening note on the bathroom wall last evening and more verbal threats were made this morning, which included the use of weapons and bombs.  Fortunately it all ended without incident but we still do not have all the details. I am just thankful for my childrens saftey and the saftey of all 800 highschoolers.  What a Crazy World to be growing up in! 

Yet we have to let them go ....I just cross my fingers each time my kids leave for school in the morning that they will return home safely
