I am almost to the conclusion I shouldn't buy coins from e-bay sellers. I have been duped 4 times. First I get a counterfeit trade dollar. Then I buy a 3 misrepresented coins with holes in them, and now I am the proud owner of a counterfeit 1853 1 dollar gold coin. Finally I make a person living in a foreign country ,(south America), use Pay-pal for my transaction thinking it is a safe way to go, I agree to pay the extra fees he will incure, and he keeps the money and refuses to ship my coins… to the tune of 2000 dollars. I lodged pay-pal claims in three of these cases. The out comes are pending. The 1883 dollar was a direct payment…….I haven’t had contact with that seller I emailed the counterfeiters the trade dollar person refuses to refund my money, and the gold person hasn’t answered. The misrepresented product person refused to refund my money at first then agreed as long as I leave him positive feed back. You know what the real rub is ? Retaliatory feed back. If I give the person negative feedback, I loose any hope of cooperation with that person, and they post negative feed back on me making me appear dubious. Ah E-bay the heaven for the unscrupulous, and hell for the trusting, honest, and law abiding citizen. Here is a list of the transactions and the stauses of each that I am disputing.
The first one for the 1 dollar gold coins I initiated yesterday and e-mailed and called the seller but haven't received a reply as of yet. arthur dorstewitz agreed to refund my money when he recieves the coins, I mailed them last saturday. He has threatened me with negative feedback. HE REFUNDED MY MONEY AND LEFT ME POSITIVE FEEDBACK. Mark Vanderbeek told me to take a flying leap figuativly.
