Most Recent Posts My First Louis VuittonPosted Oct-04-07 13:23:13 PDT Wow! I see there is a LOT to learn about this eBay thing. I was so excited to see all the Louis Vuitton handbags listed and was sure I would come across a great deal. I finally did, but not before I to learn a lesson the hard way. The first handbag I purchased was WAY smaller than I realized. Silly me, I didn't pull out a ruler to see exactly what the measurements were! The seller's return policy was only for bags that were not authentic...DANG! By this time, I was already bidding on a wallet! I lost the first auction, which was a STEAL. I found another wallet that I was bidding on and planning to win, when I got a SC offer from the first one. So, I decided to relist the handbag in hopes of recouping my expenses...WRONG! I lost $70!!!! on that deal!!!! I figured, okay...small price to pay for my own mistake. The wallet arrived a few days before the sale of the handbag, and I proudly showed it off. Then the buyer of the handbag emailed me with concerns about the handbag I was selling because "I just purchased a non authentic Louis Vuitton wallet." I nearly lost it!!! I took it to the Louis Vuitton boutique and they immediately knew it was fake. Luckily, I emailed the seller right away and they weren't aware that is was a fake. My money is being refunded and all is well with my world. I have since purchased a Louis Vuitton bag that I'm waiting to receive. I definitely had 2 guardian angels watching over me. This could have been a complete disaster. All over trying to save a few hundred dollars. Buyers Beware!!! Know your stuff!! You may not be so lucky....maybe I should wait until I receive my handbag before I give too many more kuddos! |
