Most Recent Posts Packing and moving.Posted May-12-08 12:04:30 PDT Have made the decision to move to Tampa where my son lives. I'm looking forward to warmer weather year-round. This will take a chunk of time and will require my putting my store on vacation for most of the summer. March is Here With Lots of SnowPosted Mar-06-08 12:12:36 PST I'm looking out my window at the foot of snow that St. Louis received two nights ago. I love the look of snow and how it feels inside when snow is drifting past the window. This early March snow is leading us to the spring. I bought a dozen yellow tulips this week since nothing lifts my spirits like yellow tulips. Motivated and getting back to work.Posted Feb-14-08 12:47:28 PST I've been in a post-surgical funk. Neglected updating my store and spent a lot of time watching the elections on MSNBC. Today I woke up and started re-listing items from my store on fixed price format, re-writing descriptions and thinking of creative ways to attract buyers. It felt good to be busy and involved, even though I didn't get all the results I wanted. For the first time in a long time, I feel motivated.
Winter SadnessPosted Feb-11-08 08:16:46 PST February is my least-favorite month. From November thru January there are enough holidays to brighten up the prospect. By February the cold, lack of sunshine, and sometimes bad weather seem like a blanket that has descended on my life. I've decided to create a sense of movement by re-doing my store, re-arranging items and adding some new ones. Expect me to sound more forward looking by the end of this (fortunately) short month.
