Today I Am GRATEFUL!

Take a Look!

Yesterday I went to a few retail stores and browsed around.  I couldn't find what I was looking for and the places were packed with people. (I get panicked in large crowds).  I then realized that school is starting soon and that's why there were so many people out.

I just wanted you to know I'm selling several articles of clothing that may interest the high school or college age student.  I do combine shipping on multiple purchases and will answer any questions you may have about an item.  EBay is such an inexpensive, no-hassle way to shop!!!  Have a great day!!!

Butterflies Mating!!!

My garden is full of Passion Flowers which are a haven for Butterflies.  This past weekend I took some pictures of this "couple" and was truly amazed although I felt somewhat voyeristic.  I now know where butterflies come from.  What a wonderful treat from nature!

Life's a Beach!!!

When we first arrived at the beach the marine layer was so thick I was beginning to doubt the decision to go.  As it turned out, the sun burnt through the layers of clouds, making it a beautiful day anyway.

Dogs! Dogs! Dogs!  Everywhere dogs!  Romping and playing in the water, on the beach, across the carefully laid out blankets and towels.  Shake, shake, shaking sand and salt water on anyone and everything.  No discrimination here!  Dog's just don't care - they're having too much fun.

Jet planes were taking off not far away, interrupting the rythm of the waves and the shouts of gleeful children overcome by the excitement of the moment.

Big dogs!  Little Dogs! No Cats or Kittens!  Probably better that way.   For the feline variety, life on "Dog Beach" is definitely on their list of "Danger Zones".

Boarders surfing waves of water.  Go! Go! Go!  Paddle! Paddle! Paddle!  Catch the wave just right and surf to your hearts content.  My heart was content watching and absorbing the negative ions from the ocean, causing me peace, serenity, and hope!  Life, for me, is definitely a Beach!!!

Life is a garden of roses but watch out for the thorns!

When I go out to tend our garden I usually end up looking like I've been in a cat fight!  Scratches on my arms, thorns in my hands, and, of course dirt on my face.  My husband keeps telling me to put my gloves on.  I don't listen.  I just have to do things MY Way, don't you know?

Life is like that, too!  When I fail to do what is suggested by those more experienced, I miss out on the beauty of the garden and only find the thorns.

Hello! How are you feeling at this very moment?

Happy? Sad? Grateful? Stressed?  Blessed? I'm interested in knowing how everyone is feeling right now!!!
