oh no I have SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder!

This is what i've got! ohh nooooooooo

Symptoms

The symptoms of SAD usually recur regularly each Winter, starting between September and November and continuing until March or April. A diagnosis can be made after three or more consecutive Winters of symptoms, which include a number of the following

Sleep problems: Usually desire to oversleep and difficulty staying awake but, in some cases, disturbed sleep and early morning wakening
Lethargy: Feeling of fatigue and inability to carry out normal routine
Overeating: Craving for carbohydrates and sweet foods, usually resulting in weight gain
Depression: Feelings of misery, guilt and loss of self-esteem, sometimes hopelessness and despair, sometimes apathy and loss of feelings
Social problems: Irritability and desire to avoid social contact
Anxiety: Tension and inability to tolerate stress
Loss of libido Decreased interest in sex and physical contact
Mood changes In some sufferers, extremes of mood and short periods of hypomania (overactivity) in spring and autumn.

Most sufferers show signs of a weakened immune, system during the Winter, and are more vulnerable to infections and other illnesses.

SAD symptoms disappear in Spring, either suddenly with a short period (e.g., four weeks) of hypomania or hyperactivity, or gradually, depending on the intensity of sunlight in the Spring and early Summer.

In sub-syndromal SAD, symptoms such as tiredness, lethargy, sleep and eating problems occur, but depression and anxiety are absent or mild.

SAD may begin at any age but the main age of onset is between 18 and 30 years.

It occurs throughout the northern and southern hemispheres but is extremely rare in those living within 30 degrees of the Equator, where daylight hours are long, constant and extremely bright.

It's not acceptable to use eBay & Facebook whilst at work...

It's a bit naughty really, but Facebook & eBay must be the 2 very most addictive sites on the internet, I may be wrong but I haven't found another site like these where I find myself logging on every hour or so to check my friends on facebook or to check my listings on eBay.. or perhaps I just have an addictive personality.. Who knows!

I really don't know what I would do some boring lunchtimes without these sites though, however I just can't remember what I did at lunchtime before Facebook & eBay...

Perhaps I interacted with people in front of me a little bit more.......

Yay - I just sold a top!

A couple of moths ago I brought this really nice top from Warehouse. It was quite expensive I feel for what it was at £50 however I got it home & it didn't fit - Bummer! So 1 month passed & 2 months passed & I hadn't taken it back to the shop (Laziness I think!) then I realised that I could only exchange this within 28 days!

So I put the top on ebay & started the bidding at a very low price of £4.99, & today I sold this top all be it for just £4.99. To cut to the case though if there was no ebay this top would have probaly been in my wardrobe for about a year before I threw it out.

So the long and short of it is that - I am happy I sold this top & recouped some dough and there is a happy buyer out there who has got an amazing bargain!

I feel like a hero!
