Since most of my jewelry are made from the material sterling silver, I'd just like to do a miniature introduction on this fabulous metal. The price of sterling silver has rapidly increased in these few years, giving great potential for a great investment. Silver is known to tarnish if it's property endures heavy exposure to air, luckily it's very very simple to clean silver back to it's original state. DO NOT THROW SILVER AWAY..because it's tarnish, silver is a very valuable metal & it's easy to clean. Usually 7.5 copper is mixed within the .925 pure silver to allow the metal to be more flexible and handleable property. Silver like pure gold is generally too soft to use, mixing other metals into silver makes it more firm. Usually the metal used to mix in with pure silver is copper and copper is very reactive to air, therefore causing the silver to tarnish if exposed to oxygen. .................................................................................................................
