Most Recent Posts Unfair negative feedback for sellersPosted Jun-01-08 20:04:29 PDT Recently, a buyer left me negative feedback claiming "items not as described" because I sold a lot of 60 pieces of clothes and she claimed there were only 56, and because my listing said it included "Gymboree" but I did not send her anything of that brand. I told her everything was there and she needed to do a recount of the items but she just insisted I was scamming her. After sending me several not-so-nice emails, reporting me to ebay, opening a Paypal dispute wanting a 50% refund (for 56 items instead of 60, what??) and ruining my feedback score, she sent me an email saying SHE HAD FOUND THE OTHER ITEMS stuck in between blankets and SHE FOUND THE GYMBOREE ITEM TOO! You know what I got from her? A big headache and an "oops I'm sorry I left you negative feedback". I started this blog because the new feedback system is unfair for sellers. I was harrassed by my buyer for days, and then left with negative feedback that will haunt me for a while, all for a BIG MISTAKE SHE MADE. And what can I do? Nothing! I want the truth to come out, somehow because now, my sales will be inhibited for a while because potential buyers won't trust me. All because of a MISTAKE by a buyer that couldn't read or count. Not to mention when I try to buy something, because I am a buyer too, after all, my bids will be cancelled left and right and no one will take me seriously. WHAT CAN I DO? |
