Most Recent Posts Current Eyeglass Frame & Sunglass Inventory on Clearance!!!Posted Jun-28-08 23:27:02 PDT I have my eye on a new lot of designer eyeglass frames and sunglasses!!! I am selling off my current inventory at SUPER LOW prices to make room in my office cabinets for the new items. The clearance items are listed at least 80-90% off retail price for the starting bid. $267 Furla Eyeglass Frames for $25!!!! My mother-in-law just about died when I told her how cheap I had reduced the prices to! They are new and really nice styles that look sharp. View my LISTINGS and check out the great deals!!! I have also just started selling Sports Cards. I have a bunch of Football Cards listed, and still have Basketball and Baseball cards to go. It just takes time to list each card and it's details out, as well as look up the Beckett Value so the buyer knows what kind of a deal they are getting. For someone who barely watches sports, I am having fun learning the different players and what teams they played on and etc. I was even able to make a comment during a "sports conversation" with a group of friends. They all stopped talking and just looked at me with their mouths open. I told them what I had been doing to learn about certain palyers, etc and they totally laughed at me. I should have kept my mouth shut and acted like I knew those things because I was actually interested in the sport... oh well.
Slow Sales, But Marathon Injuries at Home!Posted Jun-22-08 22:18:10 PDT Updated Jun-22-08 22:20:19 PDT Sales have slowed down for my eyeglass and sunglass listings. But the chaos at home only goes faster. We had a string of injuries in everyone but me last night. The infant has learned how to walk but wants to run and run fast. Unfortunately it doesn't work right yet and he crashes quite a bit. This is normal I know, but does he always have to bang, bruise, welt, or indent his head or face everytime??!! He hit the entertainment center right on his eyelid/eyebrow and ten minutes later hit the other eye on the play kitchen in the playroom. He also has a little rash under his chin on his chest from his massive drooling because he is teething so badly. This poor baby looks like he has a disease! Within about 30 minutes, my toddler was racing the doll's stroller down the long hallway and forgot to stop at the end and ended up crashing big time. She had a banged up knee, hurt her finger, and got a lump on the forehead. She was most affected by the fact that the stroller was broken. My teenager thinks he is a gymnast and bounces, leaps, and flies through the house, over the furniture, and does seem to usually land on his feet. Except for last night. He tripped somehow and flipped to where he landed crotch first on the corner of the ottoman. He is sure he can never have children of his own. My husband is the kids' jungle gym. They don't have Dad put them to bed at night, or even down for naps because Daddy equals playtime. The toddler woke up and realized Dad was laying next to her watching TV. She jumped right on her Daddy and tried to hug him landing a mighty painful pair of knees right into the small of his back. My husband has a bad back - a very bad back. So he was down for the rest of the evening and the whole night, so I got up with the infant and toddler all night.... guess I did get some form of an injury after all... 3 hours sleep on what was supposed to be my night off....
The Beckett Guide kind of sucks to find the Value of a CardPosted Jun-18-08 10:11:29 PDT New to card collecting/trading/selling - brother-in-law gave me over 5000 cards to sell. I bought 2008 Beckett Guides for Football, Basketball, & Baseball. I am only finding about half of the cards in these Beckett Guides. I was told these were the most inclusive and accurate guides...they are not. Any suggestions on how to find the value of all these cards when they are not in Beckett?? |
