The Search for Treasure

It's not where it starts....

I went to an auction conducted by a father & son from WPB. When items weren't getting bids - or bids they wanted - they would rant & rave until finally one of them screamed "It's not where it starts but where it ends!" Excellent true auction strategy. I start almost all of my auctions at a low starting entry bid and let the ebay market drive the final price. As a seller, it's a gamble that I've found something that will generate interest from the ebay community. Sometimes I take a loss but the majority of the time, I'm able to turn a profit or at the very least cover my ebay costs.

Yes, a lot of people bid right away on that low priced item. Then they get the eBay notification that they have been outbid. Can't have THAT happen!! So they bid higher. And on it goes.......
