I got an email from an Ebay bidder this week. It's the kind you don't ever wanna see as a seller, methinks.
While the bidder put it much more eloquent than that...that's what my inner mad man relayed to me - and my heart sank.
See at that point in time, my photographic memory decided to kick in and I could see the exact point in time where I mixed those two orders up - then I wanted to panic.
What could I do?
Well, after apologies and several prostrations to both buyers, I asked them both for help in correcting my mess - and they were outstanding fellows.
I refunded their shipping fees, and transfered funds to cover re-shipping of the items - and offered up a token of my appreciation of their patience.
It's what I'd like were it reversed - I can SAY I'm sorry, I wanted to make it right so much as I could.

Now I'm off to punish my dog and girlfriend for not being responsible enough to be scapegoats!

I'm a little disappointed. Today I rolled out my next auction, a themed auction - Orcs. I also planned to roll out a newsletter hyping up my Orc theme...alas, you must have subscribers before you can publish an Ebay store newsletter. I figured they'd be displayed  all web-site like as well as sent out for subscribers. W R O N G!
So now I gotta PIMP my newsletter before I can publish it.
I already ain't got one job! ;)

Here I am. The fat lady has finally sung at my old gig, a year or two in the making, I've got my 90 day walking papers. I'm 80% moved into my new place, 80% out of the old...and you know how that last mile goes...
After doing the downsizing, layoff and outsourcing boogie a few times, I'm striking out merc-like. I'm a consultant these days now, well actually, these last 6 days. I'm working on a project that you might see next time you're standing in line for popcorn at a theatre...
In the meanstead, I'm still pairing down my gaming stuff to the lean-mean-this-is-what-I-play set. These days I'm into Burningwheel, still hard to get a real live group together, folks got families and wives and stuff hindering my fun! >:)
